Re: L009UiGS-2HaxD-IN power consumption

You're not asking the right question so you won't get an answer. I am asking the right question, but maybe you did not understand it properly. It's not a pharmacy or chemistry lab. An error of 10% is totally fine and acceptable. If someone would said "I have measured 7,2W" and someone els...

Re: L009UiGS-2HaxD-IN power consumption

I really don't know what's the point of your question, but if you are so interested it's about 95-98% idle (2-5Mbit in+out average) to 2-5% busy (day average).

What I wrote above is my definition of idle device, for the purpose of measuring power consumption.
Performance I need is full 1Gb routing with firewall, VPN and many many parallel connections.

L009UiGS-2HaxD-IN power consumption

Hi What is the idle* power consumption of L009UiGS-2HaxD-IN? I have a setup where the device is locked in a small (4U) 10" rack cabinet, without ventilation. Previously I used RB2011 (I need a few 1Gb eth ports and 2,4GHz wifi + ext. antennas) and it worked fine, with acceptable temps, but the ...

CRS326-24G-2S+RM dual power?

Hi
Is it possible to simultaneously power the CRS326 from DC jack and PoE-IN (ether1)?
Will it work like it has two PSUs? -> PSU redundancy.

Possible bug in NTP, leap second + CCR = hang?

Hello, I had interesting issue today, and it possibly is a bug in NTP. I wonder if anybody had similar effect. Exactly ad 02:00 am (UTC 00:00 +02:00) 5 of 9 CCRs in my network hanged. The boards aren't the same type, and also the software is different (from 6.20 to 6.29.1). They are also located in ...

Re: Configuration example of MikroTik Router OS 3.x and XR3 Card

Hmm but as you wrote earlier, in 3.5 card version there is simple 2Ghz offset, so if you set in MikroTik (for example) 5700 freq then you get 3700 real?
Am i right?

XR3 Card frequency mapping

Hi, Does anyone have a frequency mapping table for XR3 Card? (all versions) It would be nice to stick it for a while on the forum. I've found only a part of it on the forum: There is a difference between the 3.5 XR3 cards and the 3.7 version for part 90. The 3.5 cards are a 2ghz offset and the 3.7 v...

RB532 with broken Ethernet port

Hi
I have old good RB523 but with broken ethernet port (PoE one). The problem is that the device do not boot using netinstall (using ports 2 or 3). Booting from CF is also impossible. Is there a way to rescue the router? Or do i have to repair a broken eth port?.

Hello, my question is as in topic. In MT 2.9 it was easy:
:if ([:len $my_variable] = 0) do={:global my_variable 0}
How to do the same in MT 3.x ?
