Using different external DNS-Server for different LANs

Re: LAN Traffic Passing To MT!! [SOLVED]

hi ho, as you can see here https://mikrotik.com/product/RB750Gr3#fndtn-specifications your device has a MT7621A CPU inside. The feature you are searching for is "hardware offloading". So the traffic is switched in switch-chip and doesnt go through the cpu. here you can see what hardware-of...

Re: CRS326 or CSS326

Hi ho, if VLAN is the only feature you need a CSS is all you need. CRS has also a little router inside, but its cpu doesnt have much power. So its made for some little extra-setups you may need (maybe a wifi controller), but its not enough to route all traffic of the switch through the cpu. for this...

Re: DNS problem

Hi ho, your dns-settings in routerOS seem to be ok. But your router doesnt know how it can reach the DNS-Servers in the internet. So you need to tell him what route (internet connection) it has to take. Go to IP -> Routes -> Add a new route. As Destination add "0.0.0.0/0" and in Gateway en...

Re: SwOS version 2.12 released!

I have 33 pieces of the CSS326-24G-2S+ running and the problem is that after some weeks/months I dont have any access to System and Host in the WEBCONFIG any more. After rebooting they are working fine again for some time. Can you please fix this? I have had the same problem with SwOS 2.11. AFAIK t...

hardware offloading of vlan on CRS354-48G-4S+2Q+RM [SOLVED]

Hi there, I have a CRS354-48G-4S+2Q+RM with Router OS 6.47.4 and I need to setup some VLANs. Normally I do that with bridged VLAN-Interfaces, but on this device the CPU is too weak to support 48 GBit/s-Ports. So I am searching for a solution using hardware offloading of bridged VLAN ports. Re: route special connection to 2nd internet gateway [SOLVED]

Problem solved!

I had to add a static route on the server:
route add 111.222.333.444 MASK 255.255.255.255 192.168.1.15
192.168.1.15 = IP of Bridge in Mikrotik-Router over ether 2/3

Hi there, just go in winbox to "IP-> Addresses" and give eth1 and eth2 an ip address in the specific lan. when there are no firewall rules you dont need to do anything else. It just works, because a router routes! Go to "IP->Routes" and there you will find dynamically builded rou...

Hi there, for a little WiFi-Network I would like to set up 3x "hAP ac" devices and supply them with power via POE. I looked up that the hAP ac needs passive POE and has a max power consumption of 17W. As a router for backend and power supply I found the "hEX PoE". In the descript...

Re: Create bandwidth profiles with mangle and queues

I was thinking this was possible with PCQ but I do not want to share the Max-Limit bandwidth, I want every user to get the specified amount of bandwidth.
Is this possible?
Why dont you use simple-queue for each client with max-limit = 2mbit/s.?

Re: DMZ with Dynamic IP (DHCP)

Hi there, it doesnt matter if you get your wan-ip via dhcp or if it's static. The idea of a DMZ is to separate the LAN in 2 pieces. LAN1 is your DMZ. That is a separate LAN, where you connect servers that need to be reachable from the internet (like webservers, mailservers etc). If somebody hacks yo...
