Re: v3.0rc5 memory usage on rb532

Disabling SNMP and graphing solved the memory leak problems for me.

Re: v3.0rc5 reconnection problems with clients

Good news on the fix in the next release! Any word on timing for the next release? In the meantime, I have created a little script to change my MAC addresses if it gets disconnected. REMOTE_IF_IP is the address of the remote wireless interface WIRELESS_IF is the out interface for the wireless connec...

Re: 3.0rc4 Router Becomes Unavailable

Yes, I use The Dude. This is only one router in a small (8 routers) mikrotik network and the only one I have this problem with. I suspended use until I can get this router under control. This router has The Dude server on the ether1 network, so it could have been getting a bunch of extra traffic fro...

Re: v3.0rc5 reconnection problems with clients

I too am experiencing this (or something like it) with 3.0RC5. The client looses the connection to the access point (Mt to Mt), the access point has the client listed the in the registration table still. Two workarounds I have for this are: 1. delete the connection on the access point 2. change MAC ...

Re: 3.0rc4 Router Becomes Unavailable

I did mail a couple support files to support yesteday. This router and another lost their interfaces couldn't enumerate lists, etc. and other things. I was experimenting with EoIP and IPIP tunnels. Couldn't get EoIP to work at all, but IPIP did - then the routers stopped responding to winbox. I was ...

Re: 3.0rc4 Router Becomes Unavailable

For now going to use a little script to reboot the router for me. I arbitrarily chose 7mb because the router seems to start having problems after that. /system scheduler add comment="" disabled=no interval=30s name="reboot on low free memory" \ on-event=":if ([/system resour...

Re: 3.0rc4 Router Becomes Unavailable

Still having the same problem in RC5.

The router becomes unavailable and stops service DHCP, the rest continues to run. Requires a power cycle to make it work again.

Ping from out an interface using the terminal

Tried this with RC4 and RC5. Ping through an interface works for me with winbox as I would expect. But when I try it though the terminal, I can't seem to get it to work. [admin@MikroTik] > /ping 64.69.34.1 64.69.34.1 64 byte ping: ttl=53 time=34 ms 64.69.34.1 64 byte ping: ttl=53 time=29 ms ... but ...

3.0rc4 Router Becomes Unavailable

After about 18-24 hours of operating, my RB532 seems to go away - at least part of it. The main router still is functioning and traffic flows, but... DHCP stops working Ros stops responding to telnet, winbox, ssh, web, etc. I did notice this afternoon before I upgraded that the free memory was about...

Re: Errors in Win2003 server

I am having a similar problem on Windows 2003. I see the devices, icons, boxes, but no text. I can use another machine (e.g. windows xp) to connect to the server and I have text. I can even modify the text labels on the server and see them change on the client, but still nothing on the server. Was h...
