DHCP static lease through either ssh or API

Hi, I have a web interface in which I select a machine from my network and I am able to assign static IP or release the current one. Since I've just migrated to Mikrotik CCR1009 , I would like to have those processes done through API or via SSH'ing into the box and executing the command. The website...

Re: How to select where the traffic goes out through. Router with several IP's on the same interface

Hi sorry, I thought I had set up the mailing reply on every post.

How can I export my config without compromising my network? It is a pretty large file, so it's not easy to replace every single IP.

How to select where the traffic goes out through. Router with several IP's on the same interface

Hi, We have just migrated our GNU/Linux router to a Mikrotik CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ . We have mainly a bunch of IP address (public and privat) on the combo1 interface and that's it But now when doing connections from the router to somewhere , they are failing. For example: DNS client on the router has st...

Deploy first virtually and then move it to production

Hi, I am just waiting for two CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ to make a HA setup as company's main router, but before we get those devices, I would like to start working on the setup (actually migrating from my iptables linux and routes that I have on my linux box) and then export that config to the router withou...

Re: What router to get for the following setup

Hi,
I was thinking to go for a RB/CCR1036-8G2S+ , so I guess I shouldn't have any problem with this.

Cheers!

What router to get for the following setup

Hi, I am wondering what router can support my actual setup and also how hard it could be to migrate from a Linux router to a mikrotik. I have like 300 users making use of the internal services such as SMB resources and going out to the internet with 100Mb symmetric fiber. Here is my Linux router con...

Re: Mikrotik Initial Setup

Right now I have the following 100Mb connection --> Router 172.20.4.0/22--> I am here Router 172.20.150/24 --> Switches are here And I am able to reach the rest of the switches from my network, so routing seems to be working properly. My HP switches are only providing switching on the same VLAN, not...

Re: Mikrotik Initial Setup

Hi, Thank's to both of you for your quick reply. I want to use this router as a switch actually, since I think it is not to powerful to be used as a primary router for my company. So at this point I just intend to have a switch with a management IP like my HP switches. My actual switches only have o...
