Tunnel with EWON devices

Hi, We have several eFive products that are discontinued and that we would like to replace with Mikrotik rb5009ug+s+in. Those devices link together several Ewon Flexy 205 and Cosy 131 that are installed at different customers locations, and make them available for a general SCADA. The problem is tha...

Re: Command "resolve" don't return the ip address [SOLVED]

Thanks, I thought I found out the reason of the script not working, but it wasn't that, you're totally right. I found out why it didn't work thanks to you guys, a problem with a bad character inside a variable declaration of the web page. Turns out that using a "$" inside a web page addres...

Command "resolve" don't return the ip address [SOLVED]

Hi, I've upgraded from a rb3011, v.6.48.1, to a rb4011, also 6.48.1, but one of my script is not working anymore. It used the command "resolve" to get an IP address, but resolve now return "blank" answer instead of an IP address, it only returns a result when the domain name is b...

Re: Moving from rb3011 to rb4011 [SOLVED]

You're totally right about old firewall rules being a compatibility problem, I had it in the past when I upgraded the firmware, at some point, 6.46 if I remember correctly, I had to redo all of those rules as they would make my router crash and become unresponsive. I had to do a hard reset and I had...

Re: Moving from rb3011 to rb4011 [SOLVED]

Hi mkx, Actually, even if my router is old, it's still was running the current stable RouterOS version. (6.48.1) But I tried importing everything in it, and after a couple hours trying to find the source of all the error codes at import, I decided to open both router webfig side-by-side, and simply ...

Re: Moving from rb3011 to rb4011 [SOLVED]

Thanks guys. I've disabled SSH because I was getting hit all the time with someone trying to brute force my ssh port. I could activate the service as I require it, but to be honest, I'm afraid I would forget it open at some point. As for Winbox, when are we getting a Linux edition? As I specified in...

Re: Moving from rb3011 to rb4011 [SOLVED]

So basically, as I was saying, no webfig option, only CLI. Thanks, I'll try, but I hate how it end up writing "export xport file ..." Anyway to turn off auto completion? There is a reason I hate CLI, or anything typed in, I need to look at the keyboard to type, it's a real pain when you tr...

Re: PCC Load sharing troubleshooting

Finally got rid of the dual wan configuration, and got a better provider instead.

Never got to get it working properly in the end, but I found out that the problem occurred only when I had more than 200-250 concurrent connections, when I had less, the problem seemed to vanish...

Re: PCC Load sharing troubleshooting

After watching this video https://youtu.be/3LmQYIQ5RoA?t=9m10s I disabled fasttrack, but no effect. Then after reading another post on this forum about a problem with an EOIP configuration, I started tools/packet sniffer, and it is better, a whole lot better... But still some delay on pages and pack...

Re: very strange slow web access but can be solved by packet sniffer?

Hi, I'm no expert, but I was watching this video https://youtu.be/3LmQYIQ5RoA?t=9m10s and the guy was saying that a fasttrack rule that was not configured properly had similar outcome, but was fixed using tools/torch, because it was disabling fasttrack by slowing all the packets down. Could it be th...

Re: PCC Load sharing troubleshooting

Good evening, Since then I've tried the release candidate version, no change. I've also tried this method : http://doc.synchroweb.com/mikrotik-load-balancing-pcc-method/ No change, but slightly better performance. I've tried adding some queues, on each ports and general queues, to add some buffer sp...

PCC Load sharing troubleshooting

Hi everyone, I have a Mikrotik Routerboard RB3011UIAS-RM, v. 6.39.2, and I have tried to set up a PCC Load Balancing between 2 different WAN (same technology, same provider). And it almost works as it should, keyword here "Almost". I have 2 wan connections, fiber-optic, with 50mbps downloa...
