Dual PSUs in switches

Hi All, I have seen that Mikrotik have released the CRS317-1G-16S+RM. Are there any plans to release a version which has 24G or 48G ports plus multiple SFP/SFP+ cages? I feel that I can speak on behalf of those that use Mikrotik hardware in datacentres in saying that something like this is extremly ...

Re: EoIP tunnel hops

Hi payam124, The guy who I am doing this for wants the tunnel to show. Each site has an external public IP address, an internal network with a prefix of 10.nn.101.0/24 and is connected to every other site via an EoIP tunnel with /30 subnets configured on the interfaces. I have configured static rout...

EoIP tunnel hops

Hi All, With EoIP tunneling, is there a way to make the EoIP tunnel show up as a hop in the traceroute? Below, 10.99.101.254 is Site A and 10.15.101.254 is Site B, with an EoIP tunnel between them. PS C:\Windows\system32> tracert 10.15.101.254 Tracing route to 10.15.101.254 over a maximum of 30 hops...

Re: IPv6 6to4 tunnel between two Mikrotik routers [SOLVED]

You could be getting hung up at various points. To start off, remember no NAT in IPv6. (Well, at least in RouterOS) 1. You need IPv6 addressing on both sides tunnel. This can be link-local addressing but it may be easier / clearer to assign global unicast space. A /126 is fine but no one would be m...

Re: NBN dual wan setup

If you are trying to aggregate/bond your connections so that you can get 200/80, this will not work on standard residential connections. This is because outbound traffic expects to return back to the same network, on the same IP it went out on. It can be done on business/enterprise-grade connection...

IPv6 6to4 tunnel between two Mikrotik routers [SOLVED]

Hi All, Currently in the datacentre that houses our kit, we are running BGP on a CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ and at my residence I am using a RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN (with a static IP). At home I am on a 100/40 NBN HFC service with a true static IPv4 address, not a sticky DHCP address. I have tried many times to c...

Re: NBN dual wan setup

Hi, I'm from Australia and I have a RB3011UiAS-RM with 2x NBN (wan) hfc connections from telstra to my house. Both are 100/40 mbs connections. I have been follow this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeuuNE3EPBA on youtube. However, I'm unable to max out two connections. The fail over works...
