Still can't remotely connect to dude agent running on RB750G

I've seen a number of postings regarding this issue, but nothing in the way of a solution I've got an RB750G running on a remote network, with dude agent installed and running. I am attempting to connect to the agent remotely via the 750's external IP address, but have had no success. There was one...

Re: Dude Server 3.6 can't connect to Dude agent 3.6 on RB750

Hey, thanks for the quick reply! A few more questions: 1) You should connect to your RB750G running on a remote network (the new agent for a sample whith IP 192.168.168.100) from local The Dude client station. - Can you extrapolate on this? It sounds like you are suggesting I connect with my local d...

Re: Weird torch traffic! LAN visable to WAN

Where is your wan (internet connection) interface? Maybe if you post "/ip firewall nat" would help. This gets a little confusing with two sets of configurations here. It would be best if you start your own thread next time. My apologies to the origonator of this thread. I meant to put in ...

Re: Weird torch traffic! LAN visable to WAN

Hey SurferTim, Sorry about the delayed response, things got crazy for a bit. Anyway..... I checked with my ISP, they don't use that IP range on their network. Interestingly, my router died a while later. I replaced it with a routerboard 750G running ROS 4.5. At the same time I changed my internal IP...

Re: Weird torch traffic! LAN visable to WAN

I'd have to check with my internet provider, but I don't think it's there ips, as they are the ones that contacted me about it. Apparently it's confusing their load balancer to have my private IP's on the WAN port. MMM MMM KKK TTTTTTTTTTT KKK MMMM MMMM KKK TTTTTTTTTTT KKK MMM MMMM MMM III KKK KKK RR...

Re: Weird torch traffic! LAN visable to WAN

Hey all, May I jump into this conversation? We are seeing a very similar problem on our network - internal IP's showing up on the WAN side of the network, http and https only. The LAN side of our network is dhcp. All our clients get a 10.25.x.x/16 ip address, all our gear (wireless client bridges) i...

Re: Internal IP's showing up on external port

Hey Guru, That last set of instructions cut off all internal access to the internet. Is it possible it should be /ip firewall filter add chain=forward dst-address-list=RFC1918 out-interface="2: KTI" action=drop instead of /ip firewall filter add chain=forward src-address-list=RFC1918 out-i...

Re: Internal IP's showing up on external port

Hey Guru,

Thanks very much for the quick response! I made the change you suggested, but the problem is still there. Do I need to reboot the router, or wait for a while for the changes to propogate through the system?

Re: Internal IP's showing up on external port

Please post the output of "/ip address print detail", "/ip route print detail", an "/ip firewall nat export". Here you go... Address address=10.25.0.1/16 network=10.25.0.0 broadcast=10.25.255.255 interface=1: NIC Local actual-interface=1: NIC Local 1 address=10.75.0.1/...

Internal IP's showing up on external port

Hey all, this is my first time post. I'll try to keep it as clear as possible, please bear with me. Why am I seeing internal IP addresses on my external (WAN) port of my router? My routerOS (version 3.23) is configured as a gateway, using NAT masquerade to connect my clients on my internal network t...
