I confirm, 6.45.9 is the last stable version for Dude. With newer versions Dude server doesn't keep connections, doing login/logout on polling intervals. I've never had such issue with packages, though I upload and update all devices with common package, not separately. Did you try another ros versions (release candidate maybe)?

This is an old guide. Now you've got to upload packages (or any other files - background images, device icons, etc) directly to the root directory of dude server (via winbox or ftp). Example: dude is installed in the directory /disk1/dude, so you need to upload packages to that folder. Here is the c...

A device could be copy/pasted within one map. Try to open 2 copies of dude client (connected to different servers) and copy devices from one map to another.

In RouterOS you can simply add a script with a command
/ip dhcp-client release numbers=0;
(if you've got only one DHCP-client enabled).
And then make it executable by scheduler with desired frequency, for example 15 minutes.
