Limits are applied by ip. Works fine for all traffic, but I don't know how Ares can generate traffic that exceed the limit and pass through router. Try if you can.

If the the security profile has WPA and WPA2 selected, only WPA TKIP PSK can be used in CPE. So I have created a WPA2 AES CCM only profile and works apparently wothput problems.

I think that you lost the point of view.

If you don't use encryption, all the data of the network can be intercepted easily. No matter the routes, no matter the gateway... nothing matters.

That's not true, DD-WRT can act as a true bridge. Just don't use the WAN port, or set the Internet Connection to disable and assign the WAN port to the br0 bridge.
