For security reasons, I will not be posting the actual passwords. I have existing users Fred.Els and Dallas.Blackett that were working for the hotspot system. Now when we attempt to log in, we receive invalid username or password. This is the same message that appears in the log file. There is nothi...

Error

The client is told that the user name or password is invalid. In the log I see two rows, the first showing user name (IP) trying to log in by http-pap, and hotstop info debug, the second row showed invalid user. This is strange because the user was working and logging in for some weeks already.

User accounts suddently don't log on anymore

I have a couple of users on our box, created using /Tool User-Manager User. Now suddenly when a customer tries to log on, they receive a user name or password invalid message. I tried to delete and recreate the account and the same thing happens. In fact, with the exception (fortunately) of my own a...

Thanks

Thank you Paul. We wish to provide our users with the ability to communicate with each other directly, without them having to connect via the Internet. They may be connecting via different mikrotik routers and in some situations, they may be users in a company (branch) who wish to communicate with o...

Allow users to connect directly to each other

I would like to allow users to connect to each other, provided they know each other's IP address. Must I can specify a specific IP address for each user or can they use computer naming to locate each other? Is it possible for a user (computer B) to connect to the hotspot through computer A and then ...

Pity that the router's compiler does not log a compiler erro

Thank you for your help. I have resolved the problem by deleting the offending line. I could not get ( ) around the string . string to work correctly and figured I would probably have to create a local variable but it was not neccessary. Anyway, the script runs now successfully! Funny enough, other ...

Scripts won't run

None of my scripts will execute, even the simple ones. When I click the Run Script button (or execute the command using the terminal) nothing happens. No error, no execution, nothing.

What is causing this?

Send Email Fails: Error Messages lack detail: Check success?

Attempting to send an email using the /Tool E-Mail Send command, the command does not return success or failure and a few seconds later, an error appears in the log file. Is there a simple way to check if the e-mail was sent successfully? Is there a way to get a detailed error message saying why the...
