Here is my workaround solution. Temperature now managed around 50C degrees.

Yep, have the same issue. Seems to be about 70 C. Methodology to measure was quite simple. I used less reflective than SFP module cases screwdriver bit and put it on three SFP+ modules. And when it got hot (in a few minutes), measured temperature with laser thermometer. This methodology is not ideal...

Upgraded software version up to 6.42rc52 to get HW Offload for LAGs. Surprisingly found out that fans working quietly. Speed fluctuating for about +/- 100 RPM. When temperature goes down and gets lower than 39 fans are stopping.

I've observed this also a couple of times after 2-3 weeks of uptime. Then the fans seem to keep their last state (RPM) and even when the temperature is below 40C they don't stop anymore. I already opened a ticket once and they first suspected a hardware issue, but as the fans start to bahave well a...

CRS317-1G-16S+ fans not stopping

After temperature went down to +32-34 CRS317-1G-16S+ isn't stopping fans. Is it normal? Is it possible to stop them?

CRS317-1G-16S+ fan

After CPU temperature went down to normal (~32-34 C) both fans on CRS317-1G-16S+ keeps working.
Is it normal? How to fix it?
