Is there 64 bit version of Mikrotik? I have Xeon, Quad core, 2.4 GHz and CPU usage is about 60%. Also there is 4 x 1Gbit lan, and users can not use them more then 100MBit.

As I say... there is about 1000 active pppoe users.

Can somebody help me to improve the speed?

Yes, Radius server response to mikrotik for rate limit.

There is speed limitations and trafic measuring for each pppoe user.

Xeon, Quad core, 2.4 GHz - 1000 pppoe users, using around 100mbps - CPU usage around 60% I think that maxiumum will be around 1500 pppoe users on this configuration. Can we "tune" this and increase number of users (or decrease cpu ussage)? I need 5000 users (in the moment) using around 3gb...

Both MT are PPPoE servers connected to same Freeradius.

IP assigning is not problem, problem is how to "route" 80.x.158.0/24. Clients behind MT2 should get public IP (80.x.158.y)

I try to do that, but routing was problem (pppoe clients can not ping MT1)

I upgrade it to 2.9.51, but now use 100% CPU.

Here is details:

CPU: Intel 3 GHz
PPPoE 300 tunels

On another MT i have 300-400 PPPoE Tunels, Intel 2GHz with CPU Usage 50%

What is the problem?

Same configuration, but the first one (with 100% cPU usage) have 1GB Lan cards.

How to limit internet access to clients which are not from DHCP or PPPoE?

So....
Mikrotik is PPPoE and DHCP server, but if somebody set manually IP address, and set gateway IP of Mikrotik he will get internet access.

How to limit internet access only to DHCP or PPPoE clients?

I do not think that it is hardware problem because as speed go up, CPU also go UP. So.... if the speed is limited on 20Mb and 400 PPPoE users connected CPU usage is around 60%. If the speed is more, CPU usage is 100%. I think that it is normal (because firewall have to "process" more data)...

At the moment I am connected by PPPoE and I can not connect to any ftp server, even on mikrotik.
