I got it working with free DDNS service called duckdns.org. There are also automaticly generated scripts for IP updates for all kind of operating systems and devices, including Mikrotik.

It is definitly an Mikrotik DDNS issue. Will stop using it.

to check if you port is open, you should scan for open ports in your router with some online port scanner (if you have not configured your firewall to block scans), for example t1shopper port scanner is good one.

which browser do you use? I had same problem by using Opera web browser, which does not allow access to HTTP sites, but the same web site opens perfectly in Firefox or Chrome. So it has nothing to do with the MT.
