Re: IPV6 with T-mobile USA home internet gateway and single /64 address no prefix how to

I understand and agree. No mobile vendor in the US gives you anything but a /64. They are all in the dark ages. I have also spoken to their architects and they won't commit to anything other than a /64 at this time. I also pay for 500 business internet lines across the US and that doesn't get me any...

Re: IPV6 with T-mobile USA home internet gateway and single /64 address no prefix how to

Mike, Here's what you need to do: 1. Get a public GUA IPV6 /48 block from Hurricane electric. If you sign up for a free account they will give you a /48. Don't use the tunnel though as you won't be able to build a tunnel. T-Mobile's CGNAT will block it. You are signing up just to get a /48 GUA. Don'...

Re: v7.9 [stable] is released!

ROS 7.9 seems to have broken IPv6 for at least tile on a CCR1009-7G-1C. With 7.9 there are no connections to global WAN addresses. Trying to ping one says there is no route. I downgraded to 7.8 and immediately had lots of IPv6 global connections. I reinstalled 7.9 and again could not get any global...

Re: Chateau 5G on ROS 7.5 on T-Mobile

In working with T-Mobile business support I've found out that since this device is connecting to T-Mobile's 5G SA network which is currently a pure IPV6 network there is no way to get an IPV4 address. I haven't figured out how to force the Quectel RG502Q-EA modem to connect to LTE and 5G NSA network...

Re: Can ping IP's/Websites, but no internet. [SOLVED]

Soooo... I got IPv4 working. Just an idea that suddenly popped into my head. Apparently it was as simple as changing IP type to IPv4 in APN settings. My original configuration was set to auto, and I guess my internet had stopped working because auto had simply started choosing IPv6 instead of IPv4....

Re: Chateau 5G on ROS 7.5 on T-Mobile

To add additional information: I have IPV6 working. I use this APN - Fast.t-mobile.com and I'm able to get an IPV6 address. I don't get an IPV4 address. A laptop connected directly to the router works on IPV6. Since I only get a /64 PD from T-Mobile I am limited to using devices directly connected t...

Chateau 5G on ROS 7.5 on T-Mobile

Does anyone have a Chateau 5G working on T-Mobile in the US? I have a business SIM for Fixed Wireless access. I am using Fast.t-mobile.com for the APN. The router will not get an IPV4 address. It does get an IPV6 address, but since T-Mobile does not do prefix delegation I can't get IP addresses for ...

Re: IPv6 NAT T-Mobile Home Internet

Update: I can now ping Google's IPV6 address. I could not in the past. However whatismyipaddress.com does not detect IPV6

also test-ipv6.com gives me this message: Your browser has a real working IPV6 address but is avoiding using it.

Re: IPv6 NAT T-Mobile Home Internet

Thank you for all your suggestions. I am also running IPV4 in a dual wan configuration. ether1 goes to Spectrum and ether 2 goes to T-Mobile. Load balancing works under IPV4. I'm trying NAT to see if I can get dual wan loadbalancing to work under IPV6. I don't have the mangle rules for IPV6 as yet. ...

Re: IPv6 NAT T-Mobile Home Internet

RB4011-IPV6.rsc
Here is my configuration. I tried using fd01::/64 for each of the VLANS. All PCs get an IPV6 address from the pool, but they cant ping anything on the internet. I'd be very grateful for any help that someone much more knowledgeable about ROS 7 and IPV6 could provide.

Thanks!

Re: IPv6 NAT T-Mobile Home Internet

The IPV6 DHCP server doesn't seem to do anything. I setup a private pool fc00::/56 and then assigned IP addresses to each VLAN. I also setup NAT rules similar to what we do on IPV4. I see the IPV6 routes created. I can ping the IPV6 gateway but that's about where it all dies. If I do prefix delegati...

Re: IPv6 NAT T-Mobile Home Internet

I have the same issue. I've setup an IPV6 DHCP server on ROS 7.2.3 with a pool = FD01::/56 I see all the devices getting an IPV6 address but they can't get to the internet.

Re: IPv6 NAT T-Mobile Home Internet

I have the same setup and am running 7.2 of ROS. I haven't found any way to do this without getting a PD from T-Mobile. I also have business accounts with them and they don't provide PD for their business accounts either. :(

hAP AC2 VLAN - unable to get IP from dhcp

Hi, I am a brand new user of Mikrotik products. I have a hAP AC2 and an RB260GS switch. I am trying to setup VLANS. I have spent the better part of the last two weeks reading up as much as I can on this topic. 1. I am running 6.43.4 on the Router and 2.8 on the switch. 2. I can connect to the router...
