Tried to install v7.1b1 on RB3011 ended up badly. I did update from packages menu from v7.0b8 and the router stayed stuck on "Starting services..." Tried netinstall, both 7.0b8 and 7.1b1 version of netinstall did not find the router. Then with netinstall v6.45.9 ether boot finally worked. ...

I think, you are using "ca" certificate in OVPN server. Instead, you have to use "server" certificate.
