Thanks @Zacharias for your information.
I already downgrade my CCR to 6.45.6, test it, and it works like you said.
Just wonder if it new feature limitation or just a bug on tile v 6.45.7.
Hope the mikrotik support fix it on the next update
Hi All, I just want to make sure is "place-before" is not supported by tile architecture when placed on system script, or is it bug, or is it my script that got wrong? I have simple script command that will create new queue and that new queue should be placed on first queue simple. This is...
Hi PeterFreeman, Thank you for your thought and I appreciate it. My concern is when I know the IP address of client I know where it's connected without opening any winbox or another tools first :) Currently I am using unifi UAP-LR on my office. I am also considering cap / map as one access point opt...
Thank you very much for your response and answer @ MKX If it was possible what you're asking about, the roaming scenario would become case #1 above (because you definitely want to have same SSID on all APs to ease the roaming), but it can't be as you explicitly want clients to change IP address when...
Hi Mikrotik Masters and Guru. I have a silly question about DHCP server that running on bridge and it's still bugging me. Is it possible to make different dhcp pool on each port of bridged interface? I know it's obviously silly and most of people will tell me to remove the bridge and run dhcp server...
Hi all, I have a mikrotik that running multiple hotspot server and using mac address as username / password. And my problem is I always get popup Sign in to network when I try to move to another hotspot server. It happened on android and iphone. As far as I know, when we use mac address as username ...
After struggling and testing for a few months I finally found the way to solve it. 1) Create user on radcheck table 2) Assign your username into group by listing it on radusergroup table. More than 1 group is OK, but don't forget to assign the priority. 3) Don't forget to assign your username into g...
Hi All, I have a problem to create snmp traffic chart on the dude for any devices and custom snmp oid, including the mikrotik itself? I already read https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:The_Dude_v6/Charts and it does not have much explanation about traffic snmp chart. I also tried to follow what wr...
That's depend on how far you want to utilize the freeradius features.
For basic feature like just PPP authentication and then give them IP and bandwidth limiter, you have to add record on radcheck table for access-request and add record on radreply for access-accept.
Additional information: I've done my task, Freeradius woks as it should, and wifi and pptp auth works fine to. But now I'm faced with problem when I have to connect every username in Freeradius database with user's IP or pool. I've found such information: https://wiki.freeradius.org/guide/Ippool%20...
The keepalive-timeout & idle-timeout is located on "/ip hotspot server" and "/ip hotspot user profile". The differences are : Keepalive-timeout & idle-timeout on /ip hotspot server is applied when first time the user connected to the hotspot. If the user reached those tim...
Have you tried to disable / enable the queue or simply reboot your RB, then do print oid.
Perhaps there is bug on the v. 6.43.8 ? (Just a guess).
Or try to upgrade to latest routerOS version.
On /ip hotspot user profile, turn off the keepalive-timeout and set idle-timeout the same as session-timeout.
You can also use mac-cookies feature to do that.
If you want to print queue tree oid, you should use the /queue tree print oid command. Not /queue simple print oid.
Queue simple and queue tree is different thing.
As mentioned by @inteq you can set on-up script on ppp profile. But no need to create each profile for each user just to create new change mss script. Just copy the script below and paste on the ppp profile default / default-encryption script if currently you only use default / default-encryption pr...

Hi, As far as I know there is no difference configuration between HAP and HEX. To help you troubleshoot you can do : 1. ping & traceroute to the vpn server from HAP. Is your HAP is properly connected or not. 2. Make sure the HAP and HEX does not connected from the same IP public (If your HAP &am...
Basically, vpn to your office is made to "make you feel you are on your office network". Logically you are connected to your office network, but physically you are not connected directly to your office network. Windows only can call hostname or cname each other if : 1. The PC is connected ...
You can troubleshoot and narrowing the problem using this step. 1. Check connection between user using ping & traceroute. Is it reachable or not? 2. You may try to remove local IP on EoIP setting to test since it not mandatory. Is it working or not? 3. Try to not using ipsec secret. Is it workin...
