Timur, I understand from Reinis, that your problem is not related to wireless at all, it's most likely a Layer 2 misconfiguration problem. My question was to the other participants of this thread. Normis! here it is not a level 2 configuration. You have some problems with RoS on L2. Since it affect...

My RB4011 is in an upright position, which gives it more ventilation. It was a very hot summer in my region - +50 in the shade.
The temperature of the router did not rise above +44.

5GHz is falling due to the fact that the client starts to reconnect frequently.
So why it fails when there's no clients at all? After a long period of idle?

My observations show that rts/cts disabling may help. Still investigating.

I think that my situation is not the same. My CAP AC2 stops to work on 5GHz with any client. Every client does not see 5GHz SSID from CAP. And it can last for hours... not for seconds
You have the same situation, if after a short period does not appear SSID beacon frames, the wlan is disabled.

Re: RB4011 5Ghz Wifi unstable

I know this has been talked about a lot in the forums how the wifi on the RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN has some quirks. Is there any confirmation of a bug? I still want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong. It seems something as simple as having the frequency on the 5Ghz set to auto makes it unstab...

I see what you are saying. We have a full dual stack environment as well. All of our radios are set to "auto" for the frequencies and auto (XXXX) for the center channels. Maybe that is why we are not having any issues? We are stuck with US channel space. Tested in XXXX and carried the cha...

Now in capsman RB4011 stood at 5240, RB962 stood at 5180. After 10 minutes of operation, RB4011 fell. IPv4 / IPv6. So it's not a problem in the central channel. RB4011 only works steadily if RB962 and RB4011 are on the same channel. the screen shows that 5ghz from RB4011 is not, crash. In general - ...

I don’t see anything in the logs that suggest an interface has crashed. Has anyone else been able to reproduce this problem? This only happens with iPhone XS,...

Either wait for Mikrotik to do 802.11w (doubtful), or lift the second point and configure Capsman for roaming. And translate the network name of the SSID to Unicode - utf8.

Re: WAP ac 5GHz issues with iPhone XS

Apple uses a new chip, so presumably, a new driver too. This new driver did not follow RFC recommendation in one fragmenting method.
Then why did it work in CAPSMAN? Logically, the iphone xs max was not supposed to work in any mode.

One idea in case this really happens just without CAPsMAN: It sets a few defaults (e.g. WMM) that otherwise have to be set manually. Maybe it's related to that? Just a wild guess though...
