Re: Setting up a VOIP Subnet across multiple routers

Thank you, that was helpful. It set me on the right path, and I now have it functioning with a minor exception. I created an EOIP tunnel between the two sites. Then, I bridged the tunnel with the physical port, and I am now passing an IP address from Site-1 to Site-2 without any issues; perfect! The...

Setting up a VOIP Subnet across multiple routers

Hi all, I have a need to setup a singular subnet (10.100.0.0/24) across multiple MikroTik routers that are geographically located in different places. I have been running this setup for a long time and we already have Site-To-Site connectivity setup over OVPN and have countless subnets, vLANS, etc. ...

Re: [Lost Interface] IP->Routes

Sorry for the delay on my response. L2TP-8794 is the (L2TP Server Binding) interface. Within the IP - Routes. I have set the gateway to L2TP-8794 (reachable) for AD (10.0.1.0/24). This works perfectly. But this is also what randomly gets switched back to 'unknown'. I might point out this down not ha...

[Lost Interface] IP->Routes

I run a site-to-site VPN connection between my home site and a number of other locations. This works great. But for whatever reason at random intervals, I lose a custom route that I've set up that is required for me to see the other locations IP range. It changes from the L2TP VPN interface to unkno...

Re: Connecting VPN Site Subnets

So correction. From router B I now appear to be able to ping any device from Router A in the 10.0.0.0/24 range.

From router A I do not appear to be able to ping any device in the router B range of 10.0.1.0/24 range except 172.0.0.250 and 10.0.1.1.

Thoughts?

Re: Connecting VPN Site Subnets

This has helped! To a degree.

I added 10.0.0.0/24 to Router B
I added 10.0.1.0/24 to Router A

I can now ping 10.0.0.1 from Router B
I can now ping 10.0.1.1 from Router A

But I still cannot ping for example 10.0.1.40 from Router A. I still get a timed out response on this attempt.

Primary LAN is 10.0.0.0/24 VLAN is 10.0.1.0/24 I can successfully link two MikroTik routers the new router will connect on the 10.0.1.X range and be able to fully communicate across subnets. IKEv2 Site-To-Site VPN

Afternoon, I currently have a MikroTik router located in two different physical locations. Each of them operating on 10.0.0.XX (different problem to be fixed). I have a VPN service at location A that is setup on IKEv2 this is provided not by the router but provided via Microsoft's VPN tools. This co...
