Re: Queue on interface problem (need firewall?) [SOLVED]

Checked stuff and re-read the docs.

Needed both allow-fast-path=no use-ip-firewall=yes use-ip-firewall-for-vlan=yes on the bridge.
No firewall rules defined.

Simple queues work on interface basis

Happy now

Queue on interface problem (need firewall?)

Hello, I have a HapAC mostly in use as a VLAN switch and AP, no routing needed, strictly bridged interfaces on L2. Result of this I have *no* firewall (no firewall rules present). Do I understand correctly that, when I want to limit bandwith on a *per (physical ethernet) interface* basis, (using sin...

VLAN-Wireless-Switch Hap ac ROS7

Hello, Tried different setups, but still I am confused how to do this, as different resources give so many different options that are utterly difficuklt to combine. Re: Weird iOS behaviour to hAP ac

After posting the issue on reddit one user suggested to set the multicast-helper to “full” ( from default ) on the wireless interface(s). This seems to has solved the issue at least for now. :-) What exactly does this setting do in relation to the observed behaviour remains to be investigated. Any c...

Weird iOS behaviour to hAP ac

Hi all, On my network I use hAPac devices as accesspoints (not as router). The clients are almost all apple devices. (mac(book), iPhone, iPad). I am running 6.44.75 beta to get (ac) connectivity to the newer devices. With both 6.44.75 beta and earlier versions I see on the iOS (all of them !) device...

Re: WAP ac 5GHz issues with iPhone XS

I ran into similar issues on a 2018 ipad pro, but it seems that 6.44beta75 resolves the issue.
Need to run some more thorough tests (on hAP ac) to evaluate stability and performance
