It's a shame. With L3HW Unloading it is a real beast. Very low CPU load with Full BGP Tables. Consistent low latency.Yes, MPLS on CCR2xxx si very limited!
A couple years ago we were hoping for hardware offloading of MPLS, but now... we have lost hope, so we are looking at other devices.
We tried EOIP, too. Was a desaster regarding jitter.been there done that. we ripped out MPLS due to instability, moved everything to EOIP and now slowly replacing MT with Arista/VXLAN.
I am green ;-). How can I help ...It is difficult when the problem is a Moderator rather than a simple user like me...
PerasoUbiquiti has some sort of deal with Procera which is the only producer of high powered 60Ghz radios supporting channels 5 and 6. They invested in Procera (and consequently sued them in ubiquiti fashion)
What do you mean by "effective possession" ?
You are funny. I had a one line quoter shorter than your footer ;-)There is a Post Reply button below the windows to reply on a post. No need to Quote every post.
1100AHx4Hi
Rb4011?
Found someone to power cycle it. No internet exposure. Looks like a SW Problem. What version of RouterOS?
Was the router open from internet to manage (Winbox/web/SSH/Telnet) (or just from LAN IP?
Can you ask someone local to power cycle it?
The main advantage are additional channels which make a difference in 60GHz...We tested AF60LR units -they includes a new precise aiming mount - and a way faster to align the units.
With Ignitenet you'll find a 60GHz USB Stick within the Antenna ...Thank you modsx for stripping the Nray, i am shocked just to see the very small phased array antenna at the heart of the Dish!
I was expecting multiple phased array board not just one.
Regards
Paul
Great !!! Hopefully spring time is install time :-).official announcements will be released only after product will be closer to finishing stage.
Hardware and software currently is close to that point.
This question is rhetoric. ***NO***!!The biggest question in my mind. Do you think v7 is stable enough for your production environment? V7 is awesome, just not sure if I would put it into production yet.
Yes. And higher power. Not sure this is peraso stuff.UI has some advanced upper channel stuff in Airfiber 60 LR that is great, and I think is still AD chipset though?
Cambium published prices. Imho far to expensive and needs to much power.Couldn't find anything about pricing. Anyone dare to guess?
This stuff/chipset is new. Heard of some test networks with press releases but not sure this was done with .ad.Are there any bigger Terragraph (pure mesh) networks up and running today?
There are a lot reports of instabilities with ccr2004 on this forum ...For BGP performance choose CCR2004 or CHR
CCR10xx is slow on single-core performance as needed by BGP.
Full feed? Time for learning all routes?Well.
I have replaced a single 1036 for core, into two routers:
1x CCR2004 in fastpath to take care of the BGP only.
the 1036 do to all the firewall and eventual NAT needed.
Now it all runs flawlessy
Yes. Same experience.Did you ever use them?Hard to sayIt is comparing a big speaker box to a smartphone speaker. Both make sound.
We saw much better CCQ with horns!
We will never go back!
Cleaner pattern, same gain with different frequencies, low sidelobe, much better FB Ratio.RF horn 90* vs SXT 90* who wins and why?We use RF Horns for a while and they are good.
Sure ?'ad and 'ay are not compatible though, so that pretty new nRay and Cube AC are stuck on 'ad offerings.
Yoda this isA technical forum this is
on mikrotik topic should stay
:D
Yes. It's a shame. Despite its faults dude is still a great tool. All these fancy web interface based monitoring tools are *uncomfortable* to handle.... And this answer I am getting about dude questions from mikrotik always. For many, many years.
You answered a 2013 postThis is crazy low. You should by all means inrease bandwidth or you'll run into problems. I would go with at least 100Mbits.
The bridge config seems to let the ethernet port itself work additional/as before without beeing part of the bridge. Thanks for your help.
Did just/only this and nothing changed:
add frame-types=admit-only-vlan-tagged ingress-filtering=yes name=bridge1 vlan-filtering=yes
So there we areYou must have misunderstood. It was not promised for 2019.
The MUM Europe roadmap is for the next 12 months. So until ~April 2020.
What is the signal you calculated for this link?Which part of my post showed that i was unaware of what I'm doing?
clear los 400m excellent signal/aim.
device has to be reliable without disconnects on light /medium rain.
I don't get the defence over this product by you?
No. MT missed the step to 802.11ac. It does not work better than 11n with MT gear despite HW/CPUs are newer/better. NV2 is reliable but slow.Nv2 work well if we consider the old AP hardware (netmetal, sxt sa, ecc)
Of course. But for sure every generation was a big step forward. Not as big as announced but big.i think there is a lot of marketing hype around each new wifi generation, this causes a lot of confusion and excessive expectations
Or use high gain antennas with good isolation on short links.80Mhz is near impossible to pull off full performance outdoors in 5Ghz. You’d have to be in the wilderness 20 miles from any homes and well below the tree line.
Dont step backI didn't say wAP and I didn't say when But yes, we are always working on new and exciting products
No. As forum SW handles this quite good (scrollbars) my lazyness does not hurt too much!ste:
Is it necessary to quote FULL previous post?
No. But not sure if the packet loss with 100Mbit devices is solved. Is S-RJ01 also that troublesome? The older S+RJ10 are crap. Wrong DDM information, low MTU, ... There was a post showing newer with MTU size depending on negotiation speed. So it is guesswork and luck making it work ...
So if they negotiate down to 1G they no longer transport Jumbo Frames? Difficult to find the problem if that happens ...I can confirm my S+RJ10 module (R2 18/12/06 shown on label and R2.11 shown on SFP tab in ROS) allows jumbo frame of 9000 at link speed of 2.5Gbps.
Yes. Do a plain bridge and do no tagging then all packets go through.Hi!
Can you give me a hint on how to transfer ALL vlans through a LHG-Link? Do I have to configure the VLANs, or is it enough to leave "VLAN Filtering" disabled on the bridge?
Thank you for your help!
May take a while ...Mostly it's rain backup... OK I 'll wait for ubiquitiDoing backhaul + backup with one Antenna in one direction is not a good idea anyway.
There is hardware: https://wikidevi.com/wiki/List_of_802.11ax_Hardwareis there even any AC pci cards we could test on a routerboard?
Send report to support@mikrotik.com including .rif File.i update to 6.44 but when i wana use ip cloud sometimes about half of time i try "Error: request Timed out" what should i do?
It is announced for a while, not available. With this it is possible to jump from house to house with high speed. Given the high bandwidth several hops are possible. It's available for a while already. And it's not competition, given the limited range. more like "last mile" solution.
Still a waste of spectrum these days. Hope .ax shows up soon. >100M Capacity/10MHz is 2019.yeee single TCP stream 240 Mbit from 40 Mhz Mby in lab. This is not AC mode, AC mode will reach around 240Mbps on 40MHz
Codename: UnicornThat must be RouterOS v7 !!!I heard that they are releasing new version of RoS with airmax compatibility on 1 Apr 2019
+1I heard that they are releasing new version of RoS with airmax compatibility on 1 Apr 2019
Search the changelogs. Problem is solved.Any replies from Mikrotik support since Aug 2018?
RAM will not be the only problem. With this much routes the cpu will get problems with forwarding. Will not work, you need a lot more ram. Get something like a rb4011 or rb1100ahx4 at a minimum.

We have seen snow is a killer for 60GHz. Even light snow fall killed our 1200m link completely.Shure it will work, but it drop every rain66000 GHz is working on 4000+. Tested in real life...
Sorry. Wrong topic.SW Version?I used the laptop to test the speed as I was getting only 250Mbps out of 1Gbps.
Found in changelog:
*) crs3xx - improved data transmission between 10G and 1G ports;
SW Version?I used the laptop to test the speed as I was getting only 250Mbps out of 1Gbps.
Still with newest beta? I see higher numbers.then You should expect slow speed from 10G to 1G port on the same switch, like 300mbps
We see the same on 800m with light snow fall. Seems 60GHz does not like snow. Link was down an hour. 5Ghz backup jumps in.Wait for first snow. Link is not working
Mikrotik - Why no radom for this LHG? Snow is death for a reflective surface
60 GHz is a high frequency with high oxygen absorption. The LHGs do a good job ...If that is the case I think I will send them back as not fit for purpose.
Yes. Signal should be better. 60GHz needs a lot of margin.I have setup a new 60Ghz link using 2 x LHG-60's bought as a kit, the link was good -64db over 840.44m but as soon as it rains the link goes down.
You are out of business? You have no competition?I don't even have ac. Let the wait continue.
This ja a sfp+ Module. What can I do with this SFP module?
I plugged it into my RB2011 and I am thinking I can use it like another interface?
Pros?
In IP Setting fastpath/fasttrack counters are "0".Hi.
Running the sniffer will disable fast path and fasttrack. If you have fp/ft enabled, then is a thing to look.
