Re: LHG LTE Management Passthrough to Unifi USG Router [SOLVED]

I would post one small update to the guide - if you will ever plan to put switch aware of vlans (Flex mini doesn't care about them), between LHG and USG you will need to add network in ubiquiti with matching VLAN ID - it can be even one host only like 192.168.2.1/30 disable DHCP on network and you ...

Have a look at Zyxel LTE range. They have some good outdoor units. Setup is much easier and they work well. Possibly not quite the same antenna gain as from the MikroTik LHG but worth a look.

Yes I agree completely and there’s no real explanation as to why this is needed. The lease time is set to 1 day so it’s not that causing it. I have a few other things to check but was hoping to cover all the bases and ensure it wasn’t related to IPv6 issues. Everything else connects fine although th...

I’ve setup a MikroTik SXT LTE6 unit for a customer and all has worked well for a year or so. However they asked me to install some Nest Protect smoke alarms. Re: LHG LTE Management Passthrough to Unifi USG Router [SOLVED]

It's a little tricky setting this up but I think you're 90% there. The issue I found with mine was the fact I hadn't put the LHG into a separate switch before going into the main network. I'm assuming you have the LHG plugged into the WAN port on your UDM. Try using a switch prior to the UDM, someth...

I had a delay set of 15s. I’ll try it with 20s.

No IP address on the Chateau
No DHCP server

It must have had a corruption of some sort. I’ll try it again with the suggested delay.
