Re: Philips Hue Stopped Working

This...............
/ip address
add address=192.168.1.1/24 comment=defconf interface=ether2 network=192.168.1.0

Change interface to bridge (not ether2).

Philips Hue Stopped Working

I have been happily using my Philips Hue for some time until the change from ISP modem to Mikrotik, now I am only able to access the Hue Bridge from inside the network not outside. I don't believe that forwarding is necessary, it wasn't before. Hue bridge is at 192.168.1.118 Hue sits on Ether7 > /ex...

Re: Connecting Two Mikrotik routers / Two Subnets

Yes

R1 Ether5 >>>>>> R2 Ether1 🤔

DHCP on R1 192.168.1.xxx
DHCP on R2 10.0.0.xxx

I’m wirelessly connected to R2 as I type!

So my modest (nay novice) skill level still won't allow traffic to the internet from R2.

Connecting Two Mikrotik routers / Two Subnets

Hi All Can someone help me with the steps through to getting two Mikrotik Routers working together on different subnets. R1 is (RB2011Uias) works just fine using PPPoE to my Fibre modem. R1 is at 192.168.1.1/24 with DHCP 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.30, NAT enabled. R2 is (RB2011UAS-2HND-IN) I would lik...

Re: Help needed with config

I am curious why you elected to have /ip dhcp-server set to the bridge , but then, assign /ip address to ether2 I am just curious as how assigning it to ether2 is going to magically translate to all the other ether ports?? ;-) :D If you are curious then I certainly am. I'm not really sure how I hav...

Re: Port Forwarding (AND MORE) Still Not Working [SOLVED]

Thanks anav, really appreciate the reply. Ether1 is connected directly to the VDSL router which is at 192.168.1.1 As for the forward to 69, that is typo and should have read 6690 for VPN. I have moved on a little now, or backwards and have gone back to a clean but probably vulnerable config. Sorry f...

Help needed with config

Hi all I really am learning (steeply) with the MikroTik Router and I don't have enough fingers to count the times I have 'Reset Configuration' to get where I am but you will think this is not very far. I can't help that I am missing something... Firewalls rules for a start. Here is my current config...

Port Forwarding (AND MORE) Still Not Working [SOLVED]

I have tried everything I possibly can to get my Port Forwarding working. I have a VDSL2 modem sat ahead of my Mikrotik Router. Router is at 192.168.1.1. WAN is static address at 82.xxx.xxx.xxx (we'll call it 82.111.111.111 for ease of explanation) I really would like to get the Port Forwarding set ...

Re: Guide for connection mikrotik router with dsl isp modem/router

Is there a basic guide provided by Mikrotik of how to connect the routers with modem? I'm not sure if there is one. Here is what you'll need to do. Plug the ISP modem into ether1 on the MikroTik. This will become your WAN port. The other ports will become switch ports called bridge-LAN . Below is a...
