Re: v7.16 [stable] is released!

Thanks @ToTheFull, on my hAP EX2 I had the same problem from v.15.x onwards.
I will stay with v.14.3.

Regards.
agreed. something is different since 14.3 that using multiple AX APs or some other similarity just doesnt work. going back to 14.3 and all is stable and good.

If using Prefix Lists, are these depreciated in 7,x?
Yes, prefix lists are deprecated, now everything is filtered by routing filters.
That's fine, just in 6.x it seems you can only use filters for RIP but they don't migrate to filters upon upgrading, so its an additional step to account for?

Re: v6.47 [stable] is released!

CRS326-24S+2Q+ - seems fine overall, but couple of ports connect to IScsi ports @ 10G to MSA 2040. keep flapping at random times using MW-S-+DA003 (use this for all connections except Q+ for this switch and never had an issue before). will try hard-coding to 10G and see how that goes (luckily not us...

Re: v6.47 [stable] is released!

Upgraded a number of switches and routers without issue except (so far) a RB3011UiAS. this one used interface lists for bridges and rules pointing to lists. the bridges seemed to act fine and dhcp client setup to WAN bridge. IP was obtained but NAT rule pointing to 'WAN' interface list did not work ...

Re: CRS354-48P-4S+2Q+ traffic problem on ports 1 to 8

Has anyone confirmed if cooling the device more helps and/or if the fans are installed the wrong way and/or the CPU heat sink is poorly mounted? just wondering if software vs hardware fix is needed. never opened up the chassis, but maybe part of the controllers for ports 1-8 are close to the CPU and...

Re: SIP attacks and whitelist

Change the add SIP Trial to exclude the SIP Hackers as you dont need to keep adding them to Trial if they are already in the Hacker List

Re: RouterOS v7.0beta1 (ARM)

Downgrading is a bit off.. seems I had to select stable, then manually upload filename as it could not download properly from depository. The filename didnt match what it wanted to download, so I renamed my local copy from web and then manually copied, overwriting the partial download on the mikroti...

Re: RouterOS v7.0beta1 (ARM)

Bonding, at least with EoIP (utilizing PPPoE links) seems wonky.. some PPPoE clients dont have any upload traffic

Re: DHCPv6 issue after upgrade to 6.45.1

Apparently we may have narrowed this down to the PPPoE server not sending a proper IPv6 gateway option to the client router. not sure how to resolve this other than use a previous ROS version.

DHCPv6 issue after upgrade to 6.45.1

using Mikrotik as LNS, DHCPv6 is no longer binding to the PPPoE interfaces. anyone else see this issue or know if its been resolved (or what is causing it as I only see a few entries that I dont think are related) per 6.45.1 release notes; *) dhcpv6-server - added additional RADIUS parameters for Pr...
