Re: NAT killing OSPF

In case this helps someone else.... We are using OSPF and NAT on a router running Router OS v7.2.3. This was causing problems where NAT was changing the outbound OSPF IP Address to the IP address we were using to NAT customer traffic. We tried some of the suggestions in this post with varying degre...

Re: MIPS Image File [SOLVED]

UPDATE: In case anyone needs this in the future. I managed to extract the .elf file from the Netinstall .exe following the instructions here https://www.r00t.cz/Misc/MikrotikNetinstallFromCF. The devices then booted up into the file using TFTPD. After that, they go into a 'searching for Netinstall s...

Re: MIPS Image File [SOLVED]

Is this what you're looking for? https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?p=862394#p862394 YES! Thank you so much. I got the file extracted from the EXE as on r00t's site and the devices actually boot from the file. They have booted and stopped the boot loop but for some reason are not showing up a...

MIPS Image File [SOLVED]

I'm looking for a MIPS image file that gets uploaded to Mikrotik devices during Netinstall. I'm trying to recover some devices that are glitching out with Netinstall, but that can have boot files uploaded to them with TFTPD and boot successfully. So these devices refuse to install using Netinstall. ...

Recovering RouterBOARD Bootloader (.fwf file)

We bought a batch of used LHG5-5ND antennas only to discover that they have been modified to run Cambium software. Some of the devices can be recovered back to RouterOS with Netinstall, but some of them don't pick up in Netinstall while following the procedure. I managed to get those that don't work...

Graphs lagging behind

Hi I was wondering if anyone else has a similar issue to us: We're running Dude on a CCR1036-8G-2S+(6.48.3), with the database on a SD card. The interface graphs that monitor throughput seem to start lagging behind, and get further and further behind real-time until I reboot the router. After a rebo...

Downgrade past factory firmware

Hi everyone.
Is there any way to downgrade firmware on Mikrotik devices below the factory firmware?
We use LHG5 units with Cambium's Elevate software and the new firmware above 6.40.x does not support it.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Two VLANs between routers not working as expected

Hello. I'm afraid I've run out of ideas on this issue. We have two wireless links between two towers, one 60GHz and a 5 GHz failover. I've setup two VLANS on the routers on either side with their own subnets, and we are running CRS switches powering the devices on both sides. I have VLAN filtering o...

Re: SWOS VLAN and Trunk port

I am running very similar at home. These screen captures were done on a CSS326 for a different purpose and are a little out of date, but might give you some ideas. SWOS VLAN and Trunk port

Hi all. I've been working with Mikrotik and ROS for quite a while now, but I'm new to SWOS so I'm not sure if I'm just doing something stupid here. I’ve been struggling for a while to get the VLAN config working between my RouterOS and SWOS devices. I would like to have it working in the following w...
