I don't think your advice will work, as I am pinging a host behind the interface I want to disable.
So if I disable it, I can not do the ScriptUp script.
I want to disable, wait some time, then enable and test the host again.

I want to put some lines in a netwatch monitor to check for an ip.
If that ip is not responding, run the script that has to do something like this:
disable interface ether0
wait 5 seconds
enable interface ether0
check ip
loop if necesary

Hope there is an easy solution.

Unfortunately I don't have the modem anymore so I couldn't do any other test.
If I did't find the solution I was going to try some script to reboot after 10 seconds or so
after power on. I don't know if that was going to work or not.
Just an idea.

Ok then, I will change my backups scripts to add the export file and send me both by mail.
I think the backup is better for restoring than export, but export will serve as well.

Well, it looks strange that I loss packets on wired lan and nothing on wireless link, that's why I think it is strange.
Maybe it at least should reboot the rb, but it runs perfect, only lost packets.

Still no answers, but searching in google I found that could be a problem with RAM memory.
I have changed the RAM, so now I´m waiting for the error to appear. Four days has passed without problems.
We´ll see.
