Re: IPv6 ping no response - problem with my config?

I know this is an old thread but maybe someone will be searching for the solution to the same issue like I was last night... Basically in my case the end effects were pretty much exactly like OP described: Hosts in the same subnet (local LAN) get local and global ipv6 fine. They can ping each other ...

Re: Is it possible to set up a UDP broadcast relay on RouterOS?

Yes, Larsa, that's the link I meant to add; thanks. I should note that if my solution does solve the OP's actual question, it doesn't solve the total problem. There's doubtless more configuration needed. This UniFi protocol presumably carries an IP address from the VLAN20 side to the untagged side,...

Re: Feature Request: IP Multicast Routing/mDNS/Zeroconf/Bonjour

The current working solution to this issue, unfortunately requiring additional device having access to both vlans is to use an additional software (mdns-repeater or udp-broadcast-relay-redux). You may find some people saying that avahi-daeamon with the reflector feature enabled will also do the job ...

Re: IP traffic on all connected clients freeze when other client roams between CAPs when CAPsMAN is used

I solved it! Replaced the two APs with one Ubiquity UAP-AC-NANOHD. Works perfectly with 30 min spent on configuring. As an interesting observation ... Where's cap ac ping times from a client to the router usually were sub 1ms on Ubiquity it's between 1-3ms. That's of course from the same client and ...

Re: IP traffic on all connected clients freeze when other client roams between CAPs when CAPsMAN is used

There's something seriously fucked up with CAPsMAN especially on 5GHz and I'd like to know what it is..It would also be nice if the APs/capsman was giving some hints.. Consider the below ping output... Tue 31 Mar 22:35:52 BST 2020: 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=15660 ttl=64 time=1.12 ms Tue 31...

Re: IP traffic on all connected clients freeze when other client roams between CAPs when CAPsMAN is used

I have this issue before, found that I had double bridge port for each wlan, in CAPsMAN I can see the wlan is Slave, Master, Bound, solved by remove the wlan bridge port in local CAPs and let the CAPsMAN add the bridge port for me, now I'm seeing only Master, Bound, no more Slave, and I no longer h...

IP traffic on all connected clients freeze when other client roams between CAPs when CAPsMAN is used

Hi, I have a problem that I cannot resolve for as long as I've been using CAPsMAN. My setup is as follows: - UK, end of terrace house - 1x hex1 NAT router running CAPsMAN - 2x CAP AC (RBcAPGi-5acD2nD) - 1 on ground floor - 1 on first floor The problem is that when WiFi provisioned through CAPsMAN an...

I think I'm missing something here...
The thread is tagged as "RESOLVED" but I don't think I saw the OP indicating that something resolved his problem? ...or have I missed something?

Re: Mikrotik in station mode cannot be pinged

Do you mean that: - pinging the mikrotik AP from another device connected eg. over ethernet is OK - pinging the mikrotik AP from a device connected to the WiFi which is connected to the affected AP is FAILING ? If so... The problem will most likely be with the MAC address assigned to the LAN bridge ...

Re: hap ac^2 - Group Key Exchange timeout / No Reconnect possible

So is there any update on this issue? I'm on v6.45.6 now on both my RBcAPGi-5acD2nD's and only just discovered this thread. I've struggled with this issue for good couple of months now and as I was getting nowhere I began thinking of switching to ubnt... Only now changed the group key update setting...
