S+RJ10: what temperature triggers warning log??

Hi! Recently I have purchased a S+RJ10 module and get installed on a CRS305 for a 1Gb/s connection (just as a test of the module). The switch and the module are cooled by a direct fan placed on top of CRS metal case. Monitoring module temperature never showed values over 60C° with the fan and never ...

Re: v7.14.1 [stable] is released!

I think in CRS317 there are several fan "levels" other than 0 and 100, because at startup, during boot or reboot, both fans spin more over the level they seat after boot is complete (12%->3750RPM).

Re: v7.14.1 [stable] is released!

Hi again, related to my previous post, I found following statement in documentation: fan-min-speed-percent: [...] *NOTE: the default value may vary based on FAN controller chip and/or specific model requirements. From RouterOS verson 7.14 default value is set to 12, all previous versions have 0. [.....

Re: v7.14.1 [stable] is released!

Hi, I upgraded, packages and firmware, from 7.13.5 to 7.14.1 2x CRS326-24G CRS305 CRS317 CHR All upgraded without issues but for CRS317 the "idle" fan1-speed and fan2-speed went from 0 to 3780RPM as reported by winbox and cli: [admin@MikroTik_CRS317] /system/health> print Columns: NAME, VA...

Re: Missing Bad Block counter on CRS devices

IIRC during early ROS7.x release there were several posts on missing bad blocks counter, but I thought they had been "reintroduced". With ROS6.x there was bad-blocks counter as I remember. Is possible with the 7.x versions they are hidden if the value is 0.0 , as reported in an other post?...

Missing Bad Block counter on CRS devices

Hi, I have two CRS326-24G, a CRS317 and a CRS305 and no one in /system/resource/print is reporting Bad Block count. Is it normal?? e.g. [admin@MikroTik_CRS317] > system/resource/print uptime: 1d12h48m17s version: 7.13.4 (stable) build-time: Feb/07/2024 09:59:26 factory-software: 6.44.6 free-memory: ...

Re: CRS317: "fail led" and "user led" stopped blink at boot

Correction: also the CRS305 and CRS326-24G have odd behavior with "user led" at boot, sometimes double blink, sometimes single blink sometimes no blink at all. I upgraded CRS317, CRS305 and CRS326-24G to ROS 7.10.2 (also firmware) and the odd "user led" behavior persists. So I am...

Hi! I have upgraded from 7.10 to 7.10.1 routeros AND firmware on CRS305, CRS317 e CRS326-24G. On CRS305 and CRS326 all seems OK, neither errors log or "strange behavior". On CRS317 update gone smooth as the other two, but fail led and user led stop double blinking at reboot after the firmw...

Hi! As reported at #130 I have upgraded chr, crs317, crs305 and crs326 from 7.7 to 7.8. CRS305 is used as ntp server for all other mikrotiks. Since upgrade the crs317 logs several messages every hour as: "01:36:33 system, info ntp change time Mar/11/2023 01:36:33 => Mar/11/2023 01:36:33" No...

Re: CRS305-1G-4S+ led meaning

Hi Zacharias, thank you for your quick reply :) The user led on my device is always off. I thought it lights on when there is an activity on user interface either web or terminal, but after I tried it does not ever on. Is this "only" a "programmable" led without default behavior?...
