Re: v7.8beta [testing] is released!

@mrz Can you guys please update your docs regarding MP-BGP? I still cannot get VPNv4 to work with either 7.7 or 7.8beta2, I can learn the routes from the route reflector, however traffic does not effectively flow. Either I am making some configuration mistake, or this still does not work. Thanks in ...

Re: uptime kuma docker Topic is solved

Hi antons Thanks so much for the workaround, I actually jumped the gun and created a video on the subject and creation of this container. Quick note when upgrading from 7.7rc4 to 7.7stable all the files in the kuma_data folder gave permissions errors so I could not start the container any longer. Ha...

Re: 📌 Tool: Using Splunk to analyse MikroTik logs 3.8 (Graphing everything) 💾 🛠 💻 📊

Hi Jotne, Awesome thread and really appreciate the work you have put into the script. I would like to test out the logging for myself, would it be okay if I made a video on your script if I get everything working correctly? I will definitely give you a shoutout and put links to this thread in a YouT...

I can confirm method B does not work for the alpine container either. What containers are actually working besides pihole?

Re: Road Warrior Config by the Network Berg

In the comments. Curious why he called it a Road Warrior Config. It looks like a regular wg tunnel to me... "Road Warrior" by definition means someone who might be travelling a lot, this type of wireguard setup allows for a "Road Warrior" to establish a wireguard tunnel to the w...

Awesome, have already started labbing 7.2.0, interesting though seems like L3VPN with route reflector still not working correctly, can see my routes dancing to a beat here https://streamable.com/3b8y3j

Re: BGP in VRF, routeros_v7

What's new in 7.2rc4 (2022-Feb-22 13:37): *) bgp - fixed VPNv4 route sending to remote peer; Hoping this actually works, as this will be a decent step into getting v7 into prod networks using BGP for VRF spanning. Going to test this out EDIT: Well at least I can SEE the route now, although this stil...

What you've listed in your ps is many of the reasons why I cannot use v7 in a production network.

Re: CHR on Hyper-V and ZeroTier Networks

Hello there, I think a better answer can come from an official MikroTik employee, but from my understanding there is no plans to add ZT for any other architectures besides ARM and ARM64. I personally would love for ZT to come out for smaller MTs as well as CHR, but it seems like that is more of a dr...

I wasn't expecting to see my videos being linked, though it's nice to see that you found them helpful. 1. How to to connect my R1 on the http:// gui emulation of the topology as if it were connecting to the internet ( or in clearer terms, connected to the RB450G as if the RB450G was the ISP providin...

Big oof, I've been trying to figure this out for the last couple of days myself. If I figure something out I'll also post here, though I am not seeing RDs actually being sent over the MPLS.

Re: WinBox in EVE-NG [SOLVED]

You should just be able to connect a "Network" that is associated with your Management network. Similar to adding a node, you can just connect to MikroTik to the management bridge and you will be able to pick it up via Winbox on your actual machine that is running EVE-NG

MikroTik failover script based on latency

Hi Guys, Hope you are all doing well, I have received a requirement for automatic failover if latency/jitter becomes too high at a customer site. I suggested that we may be able to use the MikroTik's scripting function to automate this process that ie if a link has over (x)ms latency over (y) pings ...

Re: Suggestion: Completely virtual router based on two physical routers

Hi nathan1 I hope you do not mind, but I have made a video on configuring the HA script and have posted it on YouTube. I have given you full credit for the script as this is completely your work, I just want to make more people aware of this. The video is just there to give some tips on how to impor...

Hey there nathan1, Firstly I want to thank you for all the effort you have been putting into this project. I have been trying to play around with your HA script but I am not really making any headway. I see that some people have managed to run this on CHRs where I am trying to get this live right no...

Issue - Bridging EOIP interfaces

Hey All, My first post on these forums, although I have visited many times. So I have been running into a very strange issue whenever I try and bridge EOIP tunnel interfaces with a VLAN interface. The issue I am having is that after I have bridged the interfaces that I will sporadically see packet l...
