Re: Rb4011+IPv6 from ISP - Problem

Hi tnx for the advice. I contacted my ISP. You know how it is they tried to help me somehow but as usually from their point of view the problem is probably on my site and at this stage, they can offer me professional support and will charge me for that. In my opinion, if they offer ipv6 in their ser...

RB4011 and NordVPN -again:/

Hi I've got RB4011 in PPPoE mode, soft ver 6.46.1 - standard configuration out of the box no any other rules in firewall except created by tutorials bellow. I'd like to run NordVPN for specific addresses in my home network. All steps have been done from both tutorials: https://support.nordvpn.com/Co...

Re: MacOS Catalina, iOS, Catalyst, SwiftUI & Wine

This actually got even simpler: https://github.com/nrlquaker/winbox-mac

If you don't want to read - just use brew.

brew cask install nrlquaker-winbox

Works flawlessly on Catalina

Re: Hap AC2 - crap wifi 5GHz

Calm down, MikroTik’s Wi-Fi isn’t their edge but still usable, 1st if all may I know what’s the current tx power running on 5GHz AP? U can find it on wireless-interface-status page. And how do u place the router? Since it’s internal antennas design so position is matter, not much impact but still u...

Re: Hap AC2 - crap wifi 5GHz

The antennas are a physics thing, not a manufacturer thing. I would try a router that has bigger antennas, like for example the RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN. That would improve very much the signal strength. so Mikrotik solution is to buy 5 times more expensive router? nice one.... if i knew it that hap ...

The problems start upstairs. In the room located just above the router wifi working well but in next room upsta...
