Re: hap ax3 random wireless disconnects

TL:DR; 7.16rc4 fixes all wifi related issues. I recently was trying to stream a remux to LG C2 via Plex and found out i was also running into the same problem. The Plex log was showing as device(WebOS tv) was constantly getting disconnected and reconnected which then continued the stream on tv. Afte...

Re: Cap devices only: "Check for updates" error - timeouts

Just use upgrade-policy configuration option. See https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/WiFi#WiFi-CAPsMANGlobalConfiguration This is my current CAPSMAN settings. Re: Cap devices only: "Check for updates" error - timeouts

When using CAPsMAN you can push upgrades. Set package-path and place the packages in that path. See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ct6aJXTE5g This manually downloading everytime and uploading is what i don't want to do. I just want to login to my CAP device and check for updates and upgrade...

Cap devices only: "Check for updates" error - timeouts

My Capsman device is RB4011. And CAP devices are two HAP AX3. Internet works just fine with roaming and all using Wifi. The Capsman device i'm able to use the "check for updates" feature and it downloads new updates when available. But on CAP devices it gives a error saying "ERROR: co...

Re: CapsMan ROS 7.13.x , issues with adding local wifi interface [SOLVED]

Unset manager on local interfaces, or set it to "local". Then go to the Radios tab, select your local radio and click the "Provision" button.
Not all heroes wear caps. This worked after hours of digging 😭

Re: v7.11beta [testing] is released!

@Plugpulled
At least report errors to support, or just talk on the forum?
There are no errors present in the logs. Ever since 7.9 there are numerous reports about Wifi stability on Wifiwave2 devices. Since this is a testing/beta version i had to report.

Re: v7.10 [stable] is released!

Upgraded both my RB4011 and HAP AX3 using as AP. RB4011 (Wifi) - stable on 7.9 and 7.10 via LAN and Wifi. HAP AX3 i upgraded from 7.8 because 7.9 was very unstable with constant Wifi disconnections, random restarts so had to downgrade to 7.8. But even on 7.10 i'm still having the same issue. Downgr...

Re: v7.9 [stable] is released!

Just noticed problems connecting wifi clients to AX2 ( after 4 days uptime).
Normal network using wpa2/3 became unavailable.
IoT network with only wpa2 was still possible.
Reboot of AX2 solved it, for now.
Same here :(. Downgraded AX3 to 7.8 and its been stable so far.

Re: v7.9 [stable] is released!

Upgraded my RB4011(Wifi) to 7.9, working stable both on WIfi/LAN. Using Hap AX3 as AP connected from port 1 of AX3 to POE port of 4011 which i'm using for my AX devices. After few hours/mins wifi is very unstable, devices are getting disconnected and unable to connect until device(AX3) reboot. Afte...

Re: How to connect two Routers A & B where B gets internet access from A [SOLVED]

You can link the devices by ensuring that they are on the same ethernet bridge I would do this: 1. Disable DHCP on Router B and C. 2. Ensure for Router A, you have ether10 on the LAN BRIDGE. With default configuration, ether10 will already be on the bridge with a RB4011. 3. Ensure for Router B and ...

Re: How to connect two Routers A & B where B gets internet access from A [SOLVED]

Disagree, you should make ZERO changes until you have a well thought out plan evidenced by a fleshed out diagram that you can show. Your concern or emphasis is wrongly placed on the config at the moment. What you need to do is the use case exercise...... a. identify users/devices, groups of users/d...
