UPnP not working?

I have been using an RB4011 for a while now and I would like to think that I have graduated beyond being a beginner by now, but... I cannot seem to get UPnP working. I am trying to use an application called Nicotine+ on Linux, which is a client for the Soulseek file sharing network. Its UPnP test pa...

Re: Revoked certificate but IKEv2 connection still works?

Are you testing from the same LAN as the router?

This feature may have been broken on iOS since v4.3!

Re: Search Domain (DHCP Option 119) not working

Thanks everyone. I have fixed that typo, added the null byte and see it now being sent successfully to Windows, but it still does not seem to be working with iOS 14 (actually iPadOS). https://i.stack.imgur.com/feE0Im.png I can see in the router log that it is being requested and being sent to the iP...

Search Domain (DHCP Option 119) not working

Is there anything wrong with this? This is set, but the search domain does not seem to be added through DHCP on iOS. /ip dhcp-server option add name=domain-search-list code=119 value="0x0c'soonoononono'0x02'co'0x02'uk'" soonoononono.co.uk The first part of the domain is obviously mangled, ...

Is it possible to make a DHCP lease script which adds a DNS record for a device through its MAC address?

Is it technically possible to make a DHCP lease script which adds a DNS record for a device through its MAC address, but instead of making it static (or maybe it does?), applies it to the IP address assigned through DHCP? The MAC addresses for these specific devices could be added to the script as v...

Re: a clear configuration L2TP server on a Mikrotik router

Hi. I tried this, but I got stuck at this point, as the `/ip ipsec peer profile` subsection does not seem to exist in the current version of RouterOS. What do I need to do instead, or has anybody got a link to more up to date instructions of setting up an L2TP/IPsec connection? Thanks. #############...

Re: IP Cloud

Does this feature work? I've recently got a RB4011GS+RM. On my previous router I could update DDNS to a few different services and it was very reliable, so I hope that I am doing something wrong rather than that this service be too unreliable to use. I am using to open aws and gcloud firewalls to my...

Re: Trying to connect to BT Infinity

Thanks. I associated the PPPoE client to the WAN interface using Quick Set. I'll try to find out how to do all the config using the CLI, in time.

Trying to connect to BT Infinity

Hi. I have tried searching this forum and the wiki for what must have been already covered, but I cannot find any information on connecting to BT Infinity VDSL. I have previoulsy used a Netgear router running the Tomato firmware. I'm using the BT Openreach ECI modem. I have tried the bthomehub@btbro...
