Re: Multi-passphrase co-exist with WPA3?

Additional SSID defeats the object of MP: multiple passphrases\access-levels on a single wifi (without RADIUS). Less management overhead and beacon traffic noise than adding SSIDs.

Multi-passphrase co-exist with WPA3?

Hi, Successfully using MP with WPA2, and it's a big security improvement :-) I have configured separate guest and main wifi passphrases: - MP x 2 - VLAN for guest network only (including pool, IP address for router, and DHCP server) - Firewall filter denying access from guest VLAN to main LAN - Secu...

Feature request: URI DNS record type

Hi,

Please can you add URI to the list of DNS record types, per RFC 7553. These map a domain name directly to a Uniform Resource Identifier (whereas CNAMES only map to another domain) and include SRV fields like priority, weight, etc.

Many thanks.

BGP ECMP resilient hashing

Hi, Are there any plans to introduce resilient hashing: https://www.juniper.net/documentation/us/en/software/junos/interfaces-ethernet-switches/topics/topic-map/resillient-hashing-lag-ecmp.html ? I know ECMP mulitpath needs to land first, but be good to add this to the roadmap. Without, you briefly ...

Re: BGP ECMP (multipathing)

This is such a huge gap in Mikrotik's feature set. Ubiquity have had BGP multipathing in EdgeOS for a long time now. To not even have a timeline or response for years on this thread suggests it is not a priority despite this topic having among the most views on this forum. This omission will be a de...

Re: L009UiGS-2HaxD-IN fast enough for 1GBIT Internet?

Not sure about suitability for 1Gb broadband, but I found network jitter over wifi was ridiculously high with L009UiGS vs my old RB2011. Voice\video calls via Microsoft Teams were completely infeasible due to freezing. iperf3 benchmarking said everything was fine, throughput as expected. But latency...

Re: DHCP deassigned, assigned every few minutes?!

@tikmakro Could you please explain step by step how you solved this problem, because I have the same on my RB760iGS (fw 6.48)? It has solved the OP's error, but isn't a fix. As I feared, removing the lines from the DHCP script that delete DNS records introduced a regression. Since multiple host rec...

Re: DHCP deassigned, assigned every few minutes?!

"bad WiFi" - My devices are wired, as are others' in this thread. But as a workaround, in my script, I've removed all lines that remove existing DNS records before creating new ones. This has kept the records in place since. Time will tell whether this introduces any new regressions. Thank...

Re: DHCP deassigned, assigned every few minutes?!

This is a major issue. Since the introduction of the DHCP script, many like me are using it to create DNS records (if search results are anything to go by). So this "dhcp, info my_net deassigned 10.0.0.15 from..." error deletes the associated DNS record and hence completely breaks connectiv...
