BGP Neighbor IP Mismatch in Traceroute/MTR on CCR1009

Hello everyone, I’m running into a peculiar issue with my MikroTik CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+, currently on RouterOS v6.49.17. My setup includes three upstream carriers, each configured with BGP, and each providing a default route. Here's a breakdown of the setup: ISP 1: Provides two peer neighbors for IPv4 ...

Re: BGP PBR instead of ECMP

Well, what's coming from ISP1 I want to route it out through ISP1. ISP2 to ISP2, ISP3 to ISP3.

Currently, what's coming in it's going out ECMP, so no control over how it goes out of my network.

BGP PBR instead of ECMP

Hi all, I'm running a CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ on ROS 6.49.17. I have 3 upstreams, each one with a sepparate ethernet port. U1 is on combo1 U2 is on eth1 and eth2 (LACP) U3 is on eth3. I'm looking to be using PBR instead of ECMP. Each upstream is giving me a Default Route via BGP. I've tried filtering (dro...

SFP+ inactive when in 802.3ad Bonding

Hello all, I'm having an issue with a Mikrotik CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+. I'm having 3 ports into a bond (LACP/802.3ad with Hash Policy - Layer2+Layer3), these ones are ether5, ether6 and sfp-sfpplus1. They are connected directly to a Dell R630 server, which runs Proxmox. The 2 copper ports are active in th...

Re: Firewall remote VPN [SOLVED]

Issue was resolved by adding firewall forward rules and routing them accordingly (on both ends).

Firewall remote VPN [SOLVED]

Hey, I have a router located in point A and another router in point B. Router A it's the main one, and B it's from another PoP. Router A and router B are connected with SSTP VPN. Problem starts because I was masquerading the traffic on router B with following NAT rule: add action=masquerade chain=sr...

Re: 2 ISP without Failover or LB

How do I make to use both ISP1 and ISP2 simultaneously on the same LAN class (10.0.0.0/8), without Load Balancing or Failover?
Kind of decided how to use them :).

2 ISP without Failover or LB

Hi there, I opened another topic but I think that I wasn't explicit enough so I will be now because I need help to figure it out how to use two ISP with 2 public subnets (IPv4) on a Mikrotik CHR Router. So we have the following schema: 1. CHR with 4 virtual ports (ether1, ether2, ether3, ether4) 2. ...

Re: CHR Router - 2 ISP Hetzner

@Sob thanks for your reply! I'm sorry that I didn't detailed the issue, I'll try to be more specific now. So we have the next sittuation. ether1 - ISP1 -> 116.202.xxx.xxx/29 subnet that's routed via IP 116.202.xxx.xxx ether 4 - ISP2 -> 46.4.xxx.xxx/27 subnet that's routed via IP 195.201.xxx.xxx I've...

Re: Can Mikrotik / RouterOS do multiple PPPOE trough same WAN cable ?

@mkx thanks for help, it works now.

I dropped my RB3011UiAS, it had some issues with LAN ports and I'm sending it on warranty.

I'm using an heX S, same thing for me, it works just perfect.

So now how can I enable the FastTrack rule?

Re: Can Mikrotik / RouterOS do multiple PPPOE trough same WAN cable ?

Hey there! I have the same setup but I encounter some issues after adding Mangle rules as you added. I mean the connection goes ok, but the speed it's very very slow, it almost doesn't load up a page (google.ro, google.com). Same ISP (RDS) with 2 PPPoE Accounts, 1 with dynamic IP Address and 1 with ...

CHR Router - 2 ISP Hetzner

Hello, I'm having some troubles completing a connection on my Mikrotik router (CHR) on a Proxmox hosted on a Hetzner server. So we have the same ISP (Hetzner) that's providing access via vSwitch and via subnet. Internet access and IP's are setup and working with the vSwitch but now I want to add a s...
