I contacted MikroTik's support about this and they suggested opening the switch's case. When the case was open I found that there are actually 4 fan connectors on the switch's mainboard even though there are only 3 fans. The third fan was connected to the connector labeled FAN4. CRS326-24S+2Q+RM - FAN3 broken?
Hi,
My brand new CRS326-24S+2Q+RM (SwOS 2.11) shows reasonable values for FAN1 and FAN2 (around 5600 RPM, CPU at 56C). However, FAN 3 stays at 0 RPM. Is that fan broken or is there a temperature control that only spins up this fan when it get's really hot?
