Thanks, I don't see the PCIe in the system/resource but I don't see any LTE interface. [admin@MikroTik] > /system/resource/usb/print Columns: DEVICE, VENDOR, NAME, SPEED # DEV VENDOR NAME SPE 0 1-0 Linux 5.6.3 ehci_hcd RB400 EHCI 480 1 2-0 Linux 5.6.3 ehci_hcd RB400 EHCI 480 [admin@MikroTik] >

EP06-A on 922UAGS-5HPacT (NetMetal 5 triple)

Hello,

I am trying to get a Quectel EP06-A working on a 922UAGS-5HPacT (NetMetal 5 triple) without success. I installed the modem but it is nowhere to be see (no lte interface, nothing on /ports/print, etc. ). I also upgraded to 7.1beta5 but the same.

Anyone had luck with this before?

Re: Speedify Mulit WAN Bonding

Reviving this thread. Is there anything similar to PepLink's SpeedFusion for Mikrotik? It can be speedify, a generic SD-WAN solution or whatever. The only reason I keep a Peplink router is to use SpeedFusion over multiple LTE links. Being able to do this on Mikrotik, would be a gigantic win and a go...

RBM33G with wireless or 3 miniPCIe

I have been looking at RouterBOARD for a custom solution. Two LTE interfaces for two different types of modems is important, so is wireless. Wondering why there is no RouterBOARD that has a wifi chip onboard and multiple miniPCIe slots. I understand this board replaced RB953 and RB433. RB953 had wir...

Solved the problem by upgrading to 7.1beta2, not sure why doesn’t matter ;-)

Re: how to send AT commands to EC25 LTE modem in LTAP Mini

Reviving an old thread. A lot of useful information, thank you. I am trying something similar, trying to add EC25-AF as a secondary modem to LTaP LTE6. Cannot get the PPP interface working, nor can I change it to an LTE interface. More details below: [admin@MikroTik] > port print Flags: I - inactive...

Re: Bad performance with LTaP LTE6

Ok, I managed to get at least the ppp-out1 interface with the following command: /system routerboard usb set type=mini-PCIe But it is disabled and I cannot enable it: [admin@MikroTik] > interface print - dynamic, X - disabled, R - running, S - slave # NAME TYPE ACTUAL-MTU L2MTU MAX-L2MTU MAC-ADDRESS...

I bought a EC25-AF and it got finally delivered. I installed it but it is nowhere to be seen in RouterOS. Re: Bad performance with LTaP LTE6

Ok, thank you for the information, this is very helpful. I think I will buy one of these to add as a second modem to my LTaP. I currently have two SIMs (AT&T and T-Mobile) but obviously I can only use one at a time with a single modem. I can take advantage of a second modem to simultaneously use...

Re: Bad performance with LTaP LTE6

Thanks jspool. Do you use these modems on Mikrotik? If I buy one (assuming I do the installation myself), will RouterOS recognize it? If so, I may consider adding one.

Re: Bad performance with LTaP LTE6

Thanks, interesting. So R11e-LTE performs better than R11e-LTE6? Is this the case for others as well?

I use the internal antennas but I ordered an external one too. Any suggestions on antennas welcome.

Tethering iPhone via USB

Is there a way to tether an iPhone via USB to RouterOS/Mikrotik? I do this with Android phones and it works well. Trying with iPhone doesn't do anything but wondering if there is a special configuration needed.

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Bad performance with LTaP LTE6

I am new to the Mikrotik world. I bought an LtAP LTE6 kit to use as an LTE hotspot. I have two different SIM cards from T-Mobile and AT&T and with both, I get close to terrible performance. I test the same sim cards in a phone or a tablet, and I get much better performance (~10x as measured at T...
