RB912UAG-5HPnD-OUT -strange design.

MikroTik please explain to me how do you suggest to connect RPSMA with outsite antenna.
The gap beetwen the cap and the main case is too small.

The package doesn't provide any cable adapters.

Usually I use RF240 or RF400 cables but they are too thick.

Re: Mikrotik DNS server issues with Amazon S3 - low TTL 60se

For us the problem is serious as we use MK dns cache widely in all our routers. The random resolve issues occurs since 5.x update and is still present in newest 5.17 one. Unfortunately we are forced to switch from using MK DNS Cache to external DNS servers. The DNS cache parameters is default for MK...

If you need all ips then use the sergejs example.

With routing it is not possible.

There is also other way. The network mask from your provider is x.x.x.160/28 You can devide the network into two small ones with mask 29 each: x.x.x.160/29 x.x.x.168/29 The first one use with WAN interface and second one with LAN interface. Then put a proper gateway from provider in your route table...

Hello,

As you can read on other topics, the marking rule isn't marking encrypted traffic generated by new version of p2p software like utorrent, ares etc.

We faced the same problem during last week and we changed the queues system in our routers.

I noticed that also the marking rule is no more effective. The only clue whats come to me is mark selected traffic like http, ftp, pop3, smtp, some communicators and give them higher prioriety. All the rest of traffic mark as other garbage and give it the lowest priorety.

It depends on what purpose do you use the Mikrotik. If you are going to set up a webproxy then the answer is obviouse.

But mostly I use it as wireless router/access point and CF card with IDE adapter is the best choice.

Hello,

Mikrotik can drop encrypted p2p traffic but only if the drop rule is enabled just before the user starts any p2p connections (run p2p software).

Enabling the drop rule at 6 am doesn't affect early established connections so the user can still download p2p garbage.

Which one of nstream do you use ? Simple one or dual ?

Do you use wds or routing ?
As far as I know the wds bridge consume more CPU power.
In my opinion for dual nstream the cpu of rb532 is too weak.

The deny rule in forward chain should be set up "in-interace=lan" in my case.
Before I set up on in-interface=all. That was the reason of blocking the transfer.
