Re: VLAN and ProtonVPN IPsec

You have mode config with both connection-mark=ProtonVPN and src-address-list=vpn. I never tested it, but I assume that packets would need both the right source address and connection mark. But you have no connection marks. Remove connection-mark=ProtonVPN and it will probably work. Thank you! I co...

VLAN and ProtonVPN IPsec

Hi! I switched from pfSense to ROS some days ago and I am still learning a lot. Thus, the problem I have probably is something evident for most of you. I am trying to assign one of my VLAN to an IPSec tunnel in ProtonVPN and a killswitch to avoid traffic leaking. These have been my resources: https:...

Re: CSS610-8G-2S+ and VLANs

I've received a reply from Mikrotik an hour ago and I did a quick test. And it works! [...] First, try to disable the "Add Information Option" under the System menu. For access or untagged ports, use "VLAN Mode = optional", "VLAN Receive = only untagged" and specify the...

Re: Setup and access switch from upstream router

It was way easier than I though. - Use static IP (or DHCP, it is up to you) - Select an static IP (10.0.10.2 in my case) - Select a VLAN ID (10 in my network) That's it. The only aspect I don't like, is the fact that you lose access to the switch from any port that is not routed by the specified VLA...

Setup and access switch from upstream router

Hi! I have a very noob question regarding the configuration of an RB260GSP with the 2.11 firmware I have followed the Mikrotik wiki guides and everything works fine in my network. However, I'm configuring the switch plugging a cable in one port and browsing to 192.168.88.1. I would like to access th...

Re: CSS610-8G-2S+ and VLANs

MikroTik has released their new product with unstable firmware (release candidate) it is full of bugs. This is not what they usually do. I'm disappointed. There are some CSS610 devices sitting on my self right now, and I'm not sure what to do with them. :-( Same feeling here. I am running a Data Sc...

Please look at threads written by others before you ask something that has already been asked. Everybody is having problems with CS610-8G-2S+ devices https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=167891 https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=168475 https://forum.mikrotik.com/view...

Re: CSS610-8G-2S+IN - SWOS 2.12rc2 Upgrade missing

CSS610 2.12 or 2.13, WHEN??? These units are unusable until we get the solid version 2.12 or 2.13. Is the SWOS team working on this? Same situation here. VLAN is unusable and the example setup in the wiki is not reproducible in this model. I know this is a new product but it is supposed to be shipp...

CSS610-8G-2S+ and VLANs

Hi everyone, I have just received my CSS610-8G-2S+ and I am unable to configure the VLANs properly. There is a new scenario in the VLAN setup section: no "enabled" option. I saw in another topic that the developers suggest using "strict" but it is not working at all in my setup. ...
