Re: Dual WAN forwarding routes connection drop [SOLVED]

Actually proceeded with queueing by packet marking only, 'cause I also have another rules filtered by ports. Still marked the connection for statistics purpouses, but only routing marked packets. https://i.ibb.co/j6QrTvG/imgmikroitk.png What you have now is ok too, only instead of src-address=!<remo...

Re: Dual WAN forwarding routes connection drop [SOLVED]

Just found out MY mistake!

Marking the connection also identifies the incoming traffic, which was then, forwarded out of my network.

Ignoring the IP address as source of the traffic did the trick.

Does anyone have any better approach on this?

Dual WAN forwarding routes connection drop [SOLVED]

Hey everyone! Just using a hap lite rb941-2nd as a load balancer. After changing to 7.1.3 version I'm having troubles marking the connection to route through one, or another ISP (eth1&eth2 interfaces to this case). This would be necessary for later bandwidth management over queues tree. Having i...

Re: Queue Tree and OpenVPN

I'm a begginer at queues and bunch of mikrotik as well just to clarify, so I may be wrong detailing some stuff. Still... I think you could try marking all the VPN traffic packets into the desired queue if VPN Server uses specific known portrange (or maybe static vpn server ip). Also, VPN Server is o...

Re: Simple Queues for Prioritization

Could you analyze the expected result like running speed tests in both networks?

Shouldn't you define bandwidth limits for such queues? (I'm also lack of knowledge)

Re: Dual ISP Bandwidth Configuration

I'm currently setting up something like yours. I started setting up a Home AP (QuickSet) on my hap lite. Then disabled wlan interface (Because hap lite's wifi sucks and prefer using some cheap Tenda). Removed ether2 from the bridge (Also if prior to RouterOS7 set the local network dhcp server (192.1...

Sending INTENTIONALLY duplicate UDP packets is possible?

Is it practically (or theoretically) possible to send same UDP packet to the same destination (Twice)? I'm having packetloss while gaming, but increasing client's tickrate decreases such packetloss. I suspect it's an ISPs QoS policy involved. Currently trying redirecting traffic to another PC which ...
