Re: Chateau LTE12 - Cell Monitor

If channels are shown during normal operation (LTE modem is registered to network, traffic flows), then they are somehow candidates to be used (either mobility or CA or both). If they only appear while modem is searching for network to connect, then they may be just anything. I'm still wondering wh...

Re: Chateau LTE12 - Cell Monitor

Try find them on https://www.cellmapper.net and you will see to which provider belongs.
I have, but it's a rural area and I'm mainly the only contributor of data to CellMapper, to date I have not connected to these bands, so they are not on CellMapper

Re: Chateau LTE12 - Cell Monitor

Your B28 has low RSRQs relative to the RSRPs, which means that it receives external interference. Raise a complain to your service provider. I don't even know where these signals are coming from! I have a Pixel 6a running CellMapper and can't seem to get it to record these cells. I've been to the l...

Re: Chateau LTE12 - Cell Monitor

Really? the B3 one I have been on for years is :

87 B3 1392 -123 -15.0 -99 1

RSRP : -123
RSRQ : -15
RSSI : -99

I thought B28 would travel a lot better and be more stable?

Surely my disk space should be 16 MiB not 15.3 MiB as reported in resources? Is it not being formatted to the correct size, or has some of it been corrupted? Or was it procured from AliExpress, is fake with a rubbish SD card instead?

It now won't upgrade to 7.13 from the GUI. It goes through the motions (downloads it, reboots etc) but still remains at 7.12.1

Make sure you netinstall it with v7.3 which just came out. A reboot loop issue has been solved there.
Could you describe the process please? The device is mounted, outside on a mast and it is a big job getting it down to put it in netinstall mode.

If you try to upgrade router "in a normal way" (either by hitting the upgrade button or by uploading newer npk files), then there will be something in log to indicate why upgrade failed.
If the device doesn't boot how do I "see" the logs?!

Still generic story. Remember that math: enB ID * 256 + Sector ID = Current Cell ID eNB ID - ID of your Tower for your ISP (other ISP at the same tower and antennas have other eNB ID) Sector ID - is a ID of sector antenna for specific band, like eg. id 0,1,2,3 can be 4 sides of the world for Band20...
