I fixed this by using FTP and putting the files directly in /flash/hotspot (replacing the existing hotspot files) - remember to enable FTP from your IP in IP > Services I believe it is

I am trying to put in a customized version of the hotspot portal. I am dragging in the public_HTML folder to Files under winbox. Then when I go to hotspot on winbox and change the html directory, it automatically adds /flash/public_html to the beginning. The old hotspot page also still loads up. May...

Solved - Built the username straight into the page and tagged it as readonly

Got it working by adding MikroTiks built in cloud hostname to the cname DNS record on dynu. Also had to disable the a record

Captive Portal/Hotspot Auto-Enter User

Hello,

I have setup a hAP ac2 with hotspot. The hotspot directs to a guest network. When the user chooses this guest wifi, the portal comes up and works well but I'd like the Username to be entered automatically and have the page only prompt for a password. Is this possible?
