Creating Bridges in router mode - Router change mode

Hi all. Working on RB1100, 750 and so on. Firmware 7.Y.X. Suppose we have this scenario. 1) Router Mode (from Quick Set) 2) Two bridges (LAN1-Bridge and WAN1-Bridge) WAN1-Bridge: Eth1 and Eth2 ports LAN1-Bridge: Eth3 and Eth4 ports Loop off and RSTP on for both the bridges. IP addresses on two bridg...

Re: Wireguard and WAN Interfaces

Hi. thanks for answering me. It helped me :-) I catch RFC1918 incoming addr in input, move src-addr to a new list dropped in raw. WG properly works. Ok. Bye First guess: Allow Wireguard traffic explicitly before dropping RFC-rule. Since RAW rules take priority over regular filter rules, you need to ...

Re: Brute Force Attacks

Hi. Anav is right: don't log it. Has Mikrotik high CPU usage or you already have some dynamic rule that could move these attackers to an addresses list to be dropped with a raw rule, for X minutes? FYI The following IP address 95.214.54.110 is trying very hard to gain access to my Tik via VPN [port ...

Wireguard and WAN Interfaces

Hi all. I got this problem in RouterOS 7.X.Y, with "working fine" Wireguard VPNs. I had a test on 3-4 different devices. Example: remote SmartPhone has private IP 10.189.188.1/24; Local PC has 172.24.0.7/24. RDP Remote 10.189.188.1/24 to PC 172.24.0.7/24 works fine. It's ok. Once i activat...

Re: 802.1AE MACsec Progress or Examples ?

Hi all. Same results, but ~28/33% CPU on 25Gbps, with CCR2216 (BW tool -UDP-rOS 7.7). ~450 Mbps Vs ~25Gbps. I can't figure out how to use MACSec in production enviroment. Today I've tested MACsec between two CCR2004 in LAB. The interface is working without any problem. These are the results on a 25G...

Hi all. S+85DLC03D is the one we need. (Thanks to Mikrotik support). Gtrz Hi all. A question about transceiver compatibility with CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ I'm ok with 25Gbps and Fiber to Copper transceiver, thanks to Mikrotik support. Re: CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ (New Flagship)

Thanks so much. Have a nice day. Hi all. I see that Router supports transceiver XS+2733LC15D. One for TX, one for RX (or TX/RX+TX/RX. Dunno*). Now this scenario is new to me. How could Router handle this? Have you got any example of conf or a manual? Thanks in advance. *edited "Normal" SFP...

Re: Queue Tree and OpenVPN

Marking by ports not an option?
Thanks for answer.
Please, explain me (or give me a link to manuals). I always use to mark connections, then packet and set Queues Parent and child. Always in egress from ifaces.
Never used with ports in q-tree.

Wireguard in a "hub-and-spoke" topology

Hi all. I'm pretty new with WireGuard. I tested with some RB750 with 7.1beta6 (Development) software. I had R0, R1, R2, R3, R4. Each one (from R1 to R4) has it's own WG connection with R0. I used same UDP port for all the WG VPNs. It was fine! After some days all the WG interfaces (in R0) were down,...

Queue Tree and OpenVPN

Hi all. I'm happy to be here. I had a look on the Forum, searching something about the object of this post. But i did find nothing. I use queue tree based upon physical interfaces. And it's smooth! I added OpenVPN with remote IP Phones and SoftPhones that register and work fine with my PBX (>> than ...
