It is probably better not to try to upgrade such old and small devices, especially when you are not using any of the newer features. (and also not when you were using features that are not yet stable in v7) It really is not an upgrade to just do for the fun of it. And certainly not on a remote rout...

Seems to me it is a bad thing to try to login immediately after boot - this way chances for random reboots are much highe...
