Re: router SSTP VPN Client lacks EAP support?

I'm facing the same issue of MS CHAP v2 not authenticating with WinServer16 RRAS.

Have you found a solution?

Re: v7.14 [stable] is released!

I too had an issue with CHR ethernet adapters disappearing after updating from 7.13.5 to 7.14 on a production server times two. 7.14 is supposed to be stable realease? I was prepared with a week old snapshot and suddenly my adapters reappeared.

Re: problem related to metaROUTERs in MT 951ui

I've been searching a while and stumbled upon this old question that was never answered. I have an RB2011-ethernet-only with the same mipsbe architecture and just as old tech as the RB951 series. For a while now I have tested some of the RouterOS version 7 versions but adding a metarouter sends the ...

Re: Container crashes randomly

@ Niki28

Hi there...

I have picked up that many lightweight alpine images do not have any active daemons running which is why they are almost instantly halted. Have you tried a Command ''tail -f /dev/null" to keep them running? This has worked for me.

Greetings

Re: Partial match on address lists - exist? or feature request?

@pe1chl Thanks for the elaborate response. It is really insightful. A "list of lists" is likely a better approach to overlapping lists rather than a wildcard / 'LIKE' implementation. The unfortunate truth is that "My script no longer works!" will always be around. Perhaps a child...

Re: Partial match on address lists - exist? or feature request?

The firewall filter rule that reads the name of the address list does not honour an asterisk (*), underscore (_) or questions mark (?) as a wildcard, instead it reads it as a textual character. Is there any sequence of special characters that represents a wildcard for the src-address-list and dst-ad...

Partial match on address lists - exist? or feature request?

I have numerous address lists that overlap. I wish I could partial match them... In example below: /ip/firewall/address-list add name=range-blacklist-permanent address=1.0.0.0/8 add name=range-blacklist-temporary address=2.0.0.0/8 timeout="00:10:00" /ip/firewall/filter add chain=input src-...

No ICMP route from container to VPN connections

I have a DC hosted and licensed CHR with VPN connections to remote locations for monitoring. Having my nose deep in Mikrotik's youtube channel and others I dicovered that I can make use of a fancy interface for monitoring uptime through a dynamic web page. This ultimately lives in a container. The c...

Re: POE-out not responding to eth5 port setting

Firmware currently sitting on 3.24 Factory version is 3.22. I downgraded to ROS 5.26 and the firmware to downgrade to is 3.08. but not taking effect, also not expecting it to since the minimum is 3.22. but I don't think the PoE firmware upgrade is taking effect. I have teamviewer on the machine I'm ...

Re: POE-out not responding to eth5 port setting

I have now surrendered to the war in my head trying to fix it and accepted this device as a working unit except for the POE unable to turn off. I've gone as far as 5.26 and the firmware wont come down lower than 3.12. to 3.08. I'm reverting back to 7.6 for use in my local network as long as no non-p...

Re: POE-out not responding to eth5 port setting

I have downgraded ROS to 6.10 with firmware, 3.12, rebooted twice to make sure it has taken. I have no config on this device other than trying to get the POE to turn off with no luck. I have requested a print at CLI and it states that the port is port 5 poe is auto-on. Then turned it off via CLI and...

RouterBOOT is the same thing as the firmware version number found on the RouterBoard page in winbox?

POE-out not responding to eth5 port setting

Device: RB951Ui-2HnD Initial software: 6.4x.x (not sure what the exact version was) Upgraded to: 7.6 (POE started at boot with no eth connections) Since: reverted to 6.49.7 and 6.48.6 and no luck turning it off. Then resorted to netinstall and no luck either. I have thoroughly cleaned the board and ...

Re: Set simple queue entry if condition is met. [SOLVED]

Jotne, rextended - the names I see time and time again in forum posts - thank you for your swift response. It appears that the omission of the "where" word was my failure for predictable results. A word I see all too often in sql. Sometimes it takes a little bump like this to get back on t...

Set simple queue entry if condition is met. [SOLVED]

My mind is going round and round in circles because it does not seem to honour the condition "max-limit not equal to 1024k/1024k. :if ([/queue simple find name=queue10] max-limit!=1024k/1024k) do={ /queue simple set [find name="queue10"] max-limit=1024k/1024k } else= { :put "no a...

Re: "Encryption got out of sync" - Only with TP-Link routers

The likeliest place to look for the problem is packet loss. Perhaps, some devices may be more sensitive than others. Could it be wireless interference? Only the process of elimination will tell.
