Where are Routerboard products manufactured?

Hi Guys,

I searched but could not find an answer. A customer of mine asked where (which country) the 1.25Gbit SFP modules are manufactured since the price was so cheap compared against other brands.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Dan

Re: User Manager regularly loses Profiles of Users

I've been seeing this as well. In User Manager the profile is still listed for the user but the log shows there is no current profile, the user list shows the same and from a terminal there is no profile. When you add another profile to the user it pops up as active with the phantom profile also bei...

Graphs - 95percentile

Hi guys, Just wondering if it's possible to get the interface graphs to show a 95% mark or even make the graph mark adjustable? It would be really handy for monitoring our uplink and also our customers stats. Cheers, Dan PS Sorry guys, the tread jumped into the wrong classification - can someone mov...

Re: RB1100 connecting to a Juniper switch @ gigabit speed

* What RouterOS version are you using? At the time I believe it was running V3.11 but is now on V5.1 and has not been tested due to not being able to test it while in production and with no physical access without a trip to the DC. * What Juniper switch model is it? Unknown, will have to inquire as ...

New router with SFP port

I was at the MUM meeting in Brisbane and saw the new router with an SFP port that will be released soon. It was mentioned that it could be used in a 'Fibre to the Home' (FTTH) deployment. As most FTTH equipment is based on GPON or GEPON, will the new routerboard be capable of supporting GPON/GEPON S...

RB1100 crashes on connecting to UBNT POE supply

We have an RB1100 at a clients premises and tried to plug the lan port of a UBNT POE supply from a RocketM5 into port 12 with the result being an instant total freeze of the RB1100. We had to power cycle the Mikrotik to bring it back on line and the POE injector seems to have suffered as well. It is...

RB1100 connecting to a Juniper switch @ gigabit speed

We've had issues trying to peer with another provider who uses a Juniper switch. Patching from the Juniper gigabit port to the RB1100 results in the Mikrotik freezing almost immediately. We tried different ports 8,10 and 12 all with the same results. To bypass the issue we manually set the port spee...

Re: Could not change the key - invalid key

I have got the same error. This is a stock standard RB411A that I bought 3 months ago.

It was plugged in, upgraded to V4.6 and when I hit "Update License key" I got the result: "Could not change the key - invalid key"

Is there anything I can do to correct this?

Cheers

PPPoE connection with gatway outside subnet

Hi Guys, We have an issue here where a Mikrotik router connects via PPPoE to TPG in Australia. The default gateway is not on the same WAN subnet so the dynamic gatway is showing in blue because it can not work out the interface to use. I can not set the interface. IP 60.241.xxx.xxx Subnet 255.255.25...

We are also finding that the SR9 cards are not very stable. We had a stable link with them using another OS but Mikrotik does not seem to have the same stability. Could it be a driver issue?

Cheers,
Dan
