Re: How do I get the flag status

Hello again, When I log into our dude server with winbox and click on the dude button and then go to devices I see a status column. From the cli, I want to print out all the devices and show their status. I expected the shell command below would print a list of all the devices that appear online to ...

How do I get the flag status

Hello, We have the Dude 6.48.1 running as a CHR in a virtual machine. Is there a way to get the flag status like how the Dude client displays a blue flag when all is good and a red flag when stuff is down. We would like to know when the flag is red programmatically. I had a look at Dude settings in ...

SNMP Feature Request or Work Around

Hello MikroTik Team, On the dude, when we display [device_performance()], can it be changed to show the CPU load as only 1 or 2 decimal places instead of 10? I realize this is small potatoes, but the reason why I would like the CPU load text shorter is so that the router icon takes less real-estate ...

Re: BGP on a CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+

Hello Angelos, 1. First of all if the router we have is able to handle this. I have heard that the BGP is hungry for CPU. Can you advise me on this issue? Do you think I need a better router or can I do my job with it? And if so, which one do you recommend? I believe that the CCR-1009 could handle i...

Re: v7.1.1 OspfNeighbor received wrong LS Ack

Hello, We had the same problem where V7 routers were getting hammered by LS ACK messages. What fixed it for us was to upgrade adjacent V6 routers to V7. We have 40 routers in our network and have now upgraded half of them running V7.2.3. So far everything is working well. We also turn off BFD on V6 ...

Re: BGP default route shows invalid in ROS v7.2.3 [SOLVED]

Hello, In case this helps somebody else. The BGP filter rule for the default route did not translate properly when the router was upgraded from v6 to v7. The rule for the default route now looks like this: add chain=in-CSpire comment="ACCEPT DEFAULT ROUTE" disabled=no rule="if (dst in...

Re: BGP default route shows invalid in ROS v7.2.3 [SOLVED]

Hello ingdaka, Thank you for the reply. What happen if you remove static one with same IP or set it's distance to more than 20? I set the distance on the static route to 25. Disabled the BGP connection, waited 30 seconds, enabled the BGP connection. The BGP session is reestablished with the same res...

BGP default route shows invalid in ROS v7.2.3 [SOLVED]

Hello, Using RouterOS v7.2.3 BGP we are having a problem with the default route obtained from our upstream provider showing up in the route table as Invalid (DIFb). The BGP session is established as shown below. Flags: E - established 0 E remote.address=50.xxx.xxx.225 .as=1xxx2 .id=198.xxx.xxx.102 ....

Re: RouterOS6<>RouterOS7 woes (Maybe)

We have a similar setup where one V7 router was connected to several V6 routers and the log on the V7 router was getting hammered by LSA messages from the V6 routers. What fixed it for us was upgrading the V6 routers to V7. So far the log file on all routers have been clear for over a week now.

Re: NAT killing OSPF

In case this helps someone else.... We are using OSPF and NAT on a router running Router OS v7.2.3. This was causing problems where NAT was changing the outbound OSPF IP Address to the IP address we were using to NAT customer traffic. We tried some of the suggestions in this post with varying degree...
