Missing options in Winbox on CRS326-24G-2S+IN

I'm missing a lot of options on Winbox on my CRS326-26G-2S+IN compared to another identical switch, but rack mounted. Also missing options in for instance the "interface list" option. See attached pictures. Anyone know why?? Firmware is exactly the same, tried reboot, reset config, etc... ...

Re: New Ubiquiti Multi-gig RJ45 NBASE-T Transceiver not working

Hi. Support ticket is SUP-121423. I had some initial back and forth communication with them, but then they went silent. This was on a CRS328-POE switch. In the meantime it seems they fixed the problems (either by actually looking into it, or I just got lucky that fixing something else also fixed thi...

Re: New Ubiquiti Multi-gig RJ45 NBASE-T Transceiver not working

Well.

I've been in contact with support on this and can now happily report as of latest version v7.11, for me this is now working!!!
No more RX Loss.

I did not see any mentioning of it in the changlog, but it's working now.

Great work Mikrotik.

Re: New Ubiquiti Multi-gig RJ45 NBASE-T Transceiver not working

Yeah, tried it my CRS328-24P-4S+ and they are not working. Running latest RouterOS v7.11beta4. Really disappointing as these are only 1.9W and run much cooler than the usual 3W parts.

I'll make a support ticket as well.

Re: 100 G Network Cards // Driver

I still cannot make it work with Connectx-4 and Connectx-5 cards. Passthrough or SR-IOV not working. Any update will be helpful. But I can run with CCR2004-1G-2XS-PCIe 10G I just tried with a ConnectX-5 MCX556A-EDAT, RouterOS X86 V7.10 in a Proxmox VM with PCI-passthrough, no problems. Links came r...

CRS504-4XQ-IN strange behavior when plugging in QSFP28 module.

Hi. Just got a new CRS504-4XQ-IN and I'm trying to connect a Luxtera QSFP28 100Gb PSM4 module to it I got off eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/115508325003 When I connect the QSFP module the CRS504 starts spinning fans up and down all the time and I loose connection with the switch. If I unplug the QS...

Re: cAP ax performance and problems

In the mean time I already configured that device as an AP for usage with CAPSMAN. But I still have 7 others to do (will be at least 3 weeks before I tackle those). As indicated (my take was to rule out config issues as much as possible): - config as default as it gets out of the box !! - only chan...

Re: How to disable 802.11b and slower rates on Wifiwave2?

AFAIK b is not supported on AX device. I tested with map, it would not connect.
802.11b is listed in the specs and it's also showing in the Wireshark picture above I shared.

How to disable 802.11b and slower rates on Wifiwave2?

How does one disable 802.11b and slower rates like 1mbit on wifiwave2 (hAP ax^2 in this case)? This is from a ax^2 with 2.4GHz ax band enabled under channel config. I can't seem to find any settings related to disabling lower rates and older 802.11b protocol in wifiwave2 settings... wave2.png Thanks...

"No internet" message with Cap Ax.

Hi. Have a brand new Cap Ax with 7.10 beta5 (same problem with 7.9). Almost every time I'm unlocking my phone I get the "no internet" message even though everything is working fine. Not the same problem with a Unifi AP I'm using. What could be causing this, and how can I try to troubleshoo...

Re: MikroTik RB5009UPr+S+IN and POE-IN

I have the same problem with a Unifi US-16-150W POE+ switch.

POE+ in on port 1 it just starts blinking yellow randomly. POE+ on port 2-8, nothing, dead.

Works fine if I use the power brick.

Another guy has the same problem with a Netgear POE+ switch.

Mikrotik CHR as 2nd router for Wireguard tunnel

Hi. I currently have a RB5009 on order and will eventually migrate the router over to that and dump the ISP provided one. Now I'm currently running the default router from my ISP with a port forwarding to a Mikrotik CHR Routeros V7 running on Proxmox. I'm running Wireguard on the CHR Routeros v7 and...

Re: Add Intel i225-V NIC support?

It would be great if Mikrotik were to include the drivers for them. Did you already investigate if "standard Linux distributions" support this out-of-the-box? Did you need to install a driver or firmware package? . yes, it is included in newer distributions. Seems i225-v support was inclu...

Re: Add Intel i225-V NIC support?

@Larsa: I don't understand why you seem to be against it. There are now several people just in this thread wanting Mikrotik to support the i225-v directly. Also to me it still seems that Mikrotik are actively developing the x86 version, just see latest stable release with support for new NICs, fixes...

Re: Add Intel i225-V NIC support?

Concur! Serious controller manufacturers develops device drivers that supports Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) which enables hardware to run as "bare metal" using hypervisors like for example VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V. This is the way! 🚀 . Yes, but problem is that the i225...

What you mean with: "add support for the Intel i225-V NIC?"

What support for what?

(Too vague request are perfecly discarded, also some perfectly described)
.

By adding the drivers for the Intel i225-V network chips for the x86 and CHR versions of RouterOS.

CRS305-1G-4S+IN as a media converter for WAN and switch for LAN?

Hi. Thinking about using a CRS305-1G-4S+IN as a media converter for WAN (fiber from my internet provider to RJ45 to my router) and a switch for LAN. Config would be something like this. Port 1 = WAN/Internet in, SFP+ fiber module Port 2 = WAN/Internet to router, SFP+ to 10gb RJ45 module. Port 3 and ...
