I haven't seen the fans in CRS312 but they look like Delta type fans, if so then I'd be careful changing them to any other fans as they might not have enough airflow to keep the unit cool! CRS305 active cooling!

Thought I'd share this for anyone find it interesting or useful! I use this switch as router/switch in a network cabinet in the loft, it often gets quite hot, around 60 degrees! The network cabinet has fans too but doesn't really help! So decided to install a 3000rpm fan on it and it just made a hug...

Large home network with CRS305

I was wondering you guys could help me understand the potentials and how I can design and improve my network using my new Mikrotik Cloud Router Switch CRS305! Before anything I do understand that this is a switch and not really suitable for heavy NAT and DHCP work, but for now until I get my new RB5...

So I managed to get it working, but strangely it is working without any rules, I just turned the device (RaspberryPi) on and off and it's working! So the issue was I wanted to access 10.0.0.228:8123 from within my network! But it was rejecting my connection! Now magically it is working! Is this supp...

Access internally hosted services from within same network [SOLVED]

I'm quite new to RouterOS and been struggling to access my internal hosted services from within my network I have tried many different tutorials but whatever I put in the NAT it just doesnt work! Already configured my NAT for internet access, and have also done the DHCP, all is working fine, however...
