NAT multiple ADSL

Hi. I have two ADSL lines, and I want to use the two bandwith on my network. I created the first ADSL as an interface it works well, but the second didn't. It doesn't connect. The 0.0.0.0/0 rule use the first ADSL. So I decided I create NAT rules for each subnet and then I can NAT the traffic to the...

routing problem

Hi. I have a routing/traffic shaper problem. I have a router what routes the LAN traffic and Internet. I want to create traffic shaper rules for the LAN traffic, and Internet traffic too. The Internet comes from PPPoE via a WAN NIC, and the LAN via a LAN NIC. I created a PPPoE interface of course. I...

If I reconnect the ADSL, then nothing change. After the reconnect, same times. But if I restart the router, everything back to normal : Reply from 195.228.242.195: bytes=32 time=158ms TTL=123 Reply from 195.228.242.195: bytes=32 time=211ms TTL=123 Reply from 195.228.242.195: bytes=32 time=218ms TTL=...

larger response times

Hi. After one day continuous working, my Mikrotik PPPoE<>LAN router grows it response times to 1500-2000ms every day. If I reboot it, everything back to normal for 16-20 hours. One day later, it has great response time again. So I have to restart it every day because of this. If anyone know what wou...

Yes, parabolic dish. I don't know what was the best solution, but I tried bridging, because I don't know any other idea. I don't know what's the difference of transparent bridge, and bridge. I bridge all interface (WLANs, LANs) of the routers, but it seems the bridges and it's clienst don't communic...

bridging or what ? [SOLVED]

Hi. I have a tower with an omni antenna with Routerboard. I built a new tower with another Routerboard. I connected them (I put a parabola both towers), and I put a sector antenna to the second tower. Each parabola has own Atheros card, and the sector too. I made a bridge from the interfaces on each...

You are true, then they can't communicate, so I don't have anything to control.

Urgent wireless control problem

I bought Mikrotik to replace my AP to I can control traffic between clients. But it seems Mikrotik can only control the traffic (firewalling, traffic shaping) if it's on BETWEEN interfaces. If there's two clients on the same radio card, I can't control the traffic between them, only disable it, if I...

Of course I use them. But it doesn't work. I create the rules as I did on the wired router. But they do nothing.

Traffic shaping between clients

Hi.

Why doesn't work my simple traffic shaping rules for wireless clients ?
They work well on the wired router.
How can I shape the clients traffic between each other ?

Thank you.

ARP filter

Hi. I would like to do my clients on my AP can't change their IP addresses, like on Ethernet interfaces. But if I enable the ARP reply-only feature, they can communicate with each other still freely. I don't want to disable their communication, only make traffic shaping rules fot it, but because the...

My community :
[admin@Router] snmp community> print
TIMEOUT

SNMP settings :
[admin@Router] snmp> print
TIMEOUT

Version :
MikroTik RouterOS 2.8.26 (c) 1999-2005
I have L3 license. But everything works perfectly with the router. Except this.

So simple :

[admin@Router] snmp> set enabled=yes
ERROR: action timed out - try again, if error continues contact MikroTik support and send a supout file (13)

On the Winbox interface, the controls do nothing. I can't enable it.
Every other things works perfectly, the router works very well.

SNMP timeout

Hi. Maybe it's a known problem, but I don't know how to solve that. I use Mikrotik on a PIII-600 PC from CF card with L3 license as a router. When I want to enable the SNMP service, it's waiting and gives TIMEOUT error message. But I would use SNMP statistics to diagnostize the router. Can I do some...

Address groups

Hi. As I see, in Mikrotik I can't create rules based on address groups. Can I make a firewall rule (for example) to reject connections from 192.168.0.100-192.168.0.200 ? I suppose there's other solution than create 100 firewall rules. I tried address pools, but I can't use them here. The same proble...
