Re: v7.19beta [testing] is released!

Beta7 still does not fix fast track for me on my CCR2116. It apparently works for many other users (or else there would be a massive outrage going on). It works for me on 7.18 (and .1 and .2). So it must be something in your particular config. And I'm sure you're aware that fasttrack is only enable...

Re: v7.19beta [testing] is released!

Beta7 still does not fix fast track for me on my CCR2116 where my WAN is over a XGSPON SFP+ module.

Re: v7.19beta [testing] is released!

The moment I have HW offload enabled on my fasttrack on my CCR2116, my internet goes from 2Gbps , to 0.45Mbps. Something seems to be very broken.

Re: v7.19beta [testing] is released!

I have the CCR2116-12G-4S+ , 7.19beta4 Testing drops my 2Gbps ISP connection to 0.30Mbps. This beta is a bit broken, normally the previous betas have all been fine on my devices, like the RB5009 I often run the betas, this time. I am sticking to stable for a bit.

Re: v7.19beta [testing] is released!

This update did not go well, while everything works 100%, disk space is a major issue.
With wifi, I now have 0 KiB free, and hitting out of space errors in my logs.

Re: v7.17beta [testing] is released!

I am having issues with the beta on my RB5009, I have some stability issues with the SFP+ to RJ45 modules, even at 1G.
Also I am no unable to set the CPU frequency, something that was possible on 7.16.

Re: 📣 WinBox 4 is here 📣

On beta6, I keep getting a crash if the wrong workspace is selected that was used with a chateau LTE12, it will cause winbox to just close once connected.

Re: 📣 WinBox 4 is here 📣

Hi There, Other issue I found is that tools like ping/traceroute don't allow entering a FQDN like www.google.com. They always expect an IP address. This works in Winbox 3 and it is really useful for me! Thank you! +1 I also noticed you can't just enter the IP and hit enter like in winbox3, now it's...

Re: Has anyone successfully replaced the CCR2116-12G-4S+ fans with quieter Noctuas?

I replaced mine with a set of ARCTIC S4028-6K fans from Amazon for $40 for a set of 5 These are PWM fans with a 250-6000 RPM range, they also make a 1400-15000 RPM variant They're much quieter than the stock 4028B12M fans for my use case (a home router for 10Gb WAN so not really pushing it hard at ...

Re: Has anyone successfully replaced the CCR2116-12G-4S+ fans with quieter Noctuas?

The Noctua's are thinner, so they don't match up to the heat sink shield, but otherwise they'll work just fine. The fans on mine don't ramp up unless I put in a copper SFP+ module. You could probably fashion some kind of extension to the shield. My fans ram up around once every hour or so. Switch i...

Re: CCR2004-1G-12S-2XS - are there any "before you buy" caveats?

I am currently looking at the CCR2004-1G-12S-2XS myself, but leaning more towards the CCR2116-12G-4S+. I think it will be a better buy. Just a bit worried about the power consumption.

Re: v7.16rc [testing] is released!

It seems that the traceroute command no longer shows the return packet size? It was present in the 7.11.3 version, but no longer. In both cli and winbox

Re: 📣 WinBox 4 is here 📣

Bug issue first, well not really a bug, just noticed this version doesn't do well with large latency, I connect to a router that sits 170ms away. Often when opening certain menus it doesn't load and the screen appears empty, making it seem as if things aren't working, but in fact it is still just lo...

Re: MAC Flooding Security

I have the same issue, it just kills the memory on my RB5009, I watch my 830Mb free drop to 97Mb and then the device reboots.
