I was not successful with the console cable however, I had 2 ethernet interface in the RB so I connected to the second Ethernet port and logged in.

i have a RB133 which had a similar issue: could not get roteros.dll: no reply! I had deleted the Winbox folder, downloaded the new exe and ran the application for MAC login.
